This is The Dump, where humans throw out their trash. This is a place to come and scrounge for food if there is a famine, or you just don't want to hunt. There are many dogs around here! And humans sometimes will come and shoot wolves just because they hate them. Some things in the trash are poisoned, or very harmful, such as plastic bags or chocolate. This isn't very healthy either, and there are plenty of things to hurt yourself on.

Holly was not one to travel in to the dump and places like that very often. Sure, she was a friend to humans, but she was still a wild dog, she did not want to risk being captured and forced to be some one's house pet because this just would not work for her lifestyle. Though, food was somewhat scarce with the strange sickness going around so it was time for desperate measures. So, she lead the way to the place where the humans dumped all of their trash. Her young son walked along behind her, walking a little different than most due to missing one hind leg from birth. Though, it did not really faze him too much.
When the two of them reached the dump, Holly sniffed around for something that smelled like it might be food. She found a scent and tore open the bag to find a half eaten cheese burger that she offered to her son as she went back to searching while he ate the food that she had given him...
