East of Rushing Rivers lies Emerald Forest, where ancient trees shade much of the territory except for those rare patches where beautiful meadows, like treasures, are hidden.

Always wandering the herds boarder Sinner makes his way in, out and around the burgeoning forest while a soft spring breeze rustles the leaves overhead. Things a had been quiet for some time now, had settled into an easy yet uneventful pace. Haruhi had returned; Ankh had started meandering around a bit more then she had been and though Celeste had somehow found him she seemed to have remained true to form and was either hiding somewhere or was of doing something else. Looking around Sinner watched for signs that he might find Ankh roaming about somewhere nearby; he needed to talk to her, needed to let her know that even with the confusion of Celeste's returned he still loved her, still wanted her by his side. It had been Ankh that had drawn him back out of his dark cave and it was Ankh's face that he strove to see ever morning when the light of day began to kiss the lands with it's light.
The sound of a faint yet familiar voice breaks into Sinners observant concentration as he nears the glen within his forest and looking up he spots the owl winged form of none other than his son. Fire light in his eyes as he watches the sun bleached roan boy come in for a landing; he was growing up well and looked to have been taking care of himself quite well. At almost four years old the boy was long overdue to have gone to the Silver Lakes as laws dictate but Sinner could not bear the thought sending his son away. Racing into the clearing Sinner throws his head high as he slides to a halt and promptly raises up on his rear legs, lashing out at the air in a youthful exuberance he had not felt in some time. It was his offspring that kept him young and he wouldn't trade any one of them for anything; to give his life in their stead was not even a choice to be made and if he someday had the chance to lay his down for any one of them he would without so much as a second thought. Back tot he ground he raced to his son, nipping at the right side of his chest as he raced by, slowing to come around even as Constantine did the same. “It is good to see you well my son!” he declares as the soft crunch of movement within his forest sound in his dark pin pricks and he turns to look in the direction from which it comes.
Turning to face the approaching individual Sinner steps forward and squares off, raising his head to it's full height as he watches and waits, only to catch a soft peal of laughter. It was feminine that was for sure but even in it's familiarity it seemed just as foreign as any others and he starts to look back to Con before noticing the honeyed form of a rather slender young maiden as she made her way to Constantine's side; nudging him and dancing in place as if to start a game of chase. The girl was still small, only maybe half grown; her short length of tail showing her to be no more than two years old, far to old to be Constantine's. As Sinners gaze wanders over the entirety of the adolescent he notices her hooves; they are clubbed, split up the center and betraying the little flicka to be none other than his adopted daughter Willow. Recognition brightens his eyes as the warm spring light bathes the trio. he proclaims as he reaches out to nuzzle each in turn. “Your mother should be about somewhere and she will be greatly pleased to see the two of you growing up so well.” He smiles first to Willow then to Constantine.
“Son when you have a moment I do need to speak with you concerning political matters it you will.” He informs the nearly fully grown buck with a flash of seriousness that is shortly lived. These were his kids and he enjoyed their company immensely. If Con choose to accept the task Sinner had thought to approach him about it may be some time before he was able to see the sun bleached boy again; their lives would be taking two very different paths and he could only home that he was not sending his son in the wrong direction, but the Silver Lakes was a realm to be contended with and their activity could afford Constantine to make quite the name for himself should he choose to.
