The air is heavy as you make your way through unknown territory, as you pause to sniff the air a drop of rain falls onto your nose. It is soon followed by another and another and soon the rain is pelting down in sheets, soaking you to the bone. The clouds are an angry purple and the menacing drumming of thunder rolls over the sky. Squinting your eyes against the blinding water you find yourself at the edge of a large, dark pine forest. You are too desperate for shelter to notice the scents that mark the border and plunge in, and nearly into the chilly stream that runs through the territory. You veer away and as you are shaking the water out of your fur you notice a large pair of icy blue shards gazing at you. The storm has passed now and beams of sunlight filter through the thick canopy of pines, illuminating a massive male wolf not three feet away from where you stand.

His pelt looks like a bad patchwork job of black and white and beneath them you see large, hard bands of steely muscle and you know this is a warrior for his torso is marred with many battle scars. His banner curls over his back and his lips are drawn, exposing sharp ivory daggers. When he speaks his voice is deep and dominant, like the thunder you so recently heard.

"Wolf, you have found yourself in the terra of the Andere Seite Pack. I am Eclipse, king of this land."

It is only then that you notice another pair of lanterns gleaming in the penumbra and a dark-pelted fae slinks out into the clearing to stand next to the king, her own banner waves and her green and blue eyes bore into you. She is the same size as most males and a crisscrossing pattern of scars show that she too can take care of herself. Her voice is cold and has a snake-like sound to it yet you can see they are both fair rulers.

"And I am Nephthys, queen of Andere. We don’t care much for strangers so you must make your choice, Submit to us now or flee our lands and never return. If you fail to do either you will have little time left to regret it."

The formidable pair pierces you with their gaze and you feel as if all your secrets spill out before them. You are left with a decision now. Will you submit and take refuge in this dark forest or will you flee and never know what secrets these trees hide? Make haste, you can see that the pair grow tired of waiting.

black wolf

On top of a boulder layed a oil colored brute that was soaking up the last of the sun rays. Dusk was approaching, and it wouldn't be long till night was upon them. He raised his head at the sound of a wolf's howl nearby. A yawn was given, before he decided to take action. Sniffing the air he knew that it was a brujo. Male by the sound of the howl that lingered in the air. Stretching as he stood, his muscles showing out underneathe his sleek coat, Coal decided to go check it out. The male most likely just wanted to join. Uusally that's what you come to pack borders to do, unless your challenging. He started off at a swift lope, his body keeping to the shadows as he went, through the trails that would lead him to the area of the border that the male waited at. He made sure the brute wouldn't be able to smell his approach by keeping the wind blowing toward him, instead of the loner that waited at the border. He came out of the bushes and trees to stand where the pine forest ended, and the where the border began.

His entrance might of gone unnoticed if the male wasn't paying attention, for his ebony coloring plended in almost completely with the dark colored forest. There he spotted the dark colored brute, similar to his own jet black coat. The first thing that was noticable was that the hunter was already submitting, his throat and belly visible. Coal remembered when he, himself had to join that way. He'd be lying if he said he didn't hate every second that he had exposed his vital areas, for he felt like he was no longer in control. Score one for unknown male for submitting, Coal though with amusement. Comming closer to the male, his body in omega stance, the lowest rank in a pack, he stopped at the egde of his side of the border. One single fang visible in warning to the brute not to do something foolish that he would regret, Coal parted his maw ever so slightly so that his lyrics could be heard. Staring down at the brute with his icey blue orbs the brute spoke in an almost emotionless tone

"You are at the border of Andere Seite Packlands. State your name and reason for wanting to join this pack."

Coal let his thoughts drift a little as he waited for the perhaps soon to be packmember to answer. For a moment he wondered what had happened to his sister, the gamma of the pack. She had dissapeared of late, and it was quite unlike her to do such a thing. Then again she had been acting weird ever since her mate had fought the cougar to protect Nephthys and Zanzibar. The male had gone into a coma like trance after the fight. The brute had finally awoken, but Coal hadn't seen him or his sister around in quite awhile. The black colored brujo simply kept telling himself that they would show, for he was determined not to lose his sister again after just finding her when he thought her dead. Looking to the brute that was submitting he turned his full attention to him, silently rebuking himself for taking his attention away to his own thoughts. Coal knew better than to do that. Just like he knew better then to show emotions or weakness to the loners. He knew his King, Plauge, was gone on a hunt with a few fellow packmates, while his Queen, Kimani, was nowhere to be seen. Jewel and Baroq, the two Epsilons, were in charge till they got back. If everything went okay here, he would call for them. Most likely for Baroq, since Jewel was with pups, he thought to himself.

Black auds remained pricked ontop of his head toward the stranger, wondering how he would respond. If the male wanted a fight, then it would be his last, that much Coal knew. He knew of no one that had ever attacked a member here, and cheated death. So for his sake, Coal hoped that joining was the only thing on the loner's mind. Aqua orbs remained upon the male, noting the scars here and there that showed he was a warrior. Good, perhaps he had some fighting qualitys that might come in handy. He then proceeded to look for any other good or bad quallitys while he waited for a response.
