Lilith made her way across to the hay bale and put her head in her hands. It wasn’t that she hated the idea of having a baby with Arthur, it was just… She wasn’t ready for this. After everything that had happened recently, she had been so stressed and everything just seemed to be going wrong. She needed to be sure of everything again before she could make this sort of commitment.
“I don’t know. Two weeks, maybe.” She looked up at Arthur with tears in her eyes. “I’m not ready for that, Arthur. I don’t want to…” The cat-girl didn’t want to say ‘have a baby’. It might make it too real. It didn’t seem to take too long before Topaz had wandered over to her and was nibbling her ears softly. She sighed and patted the stallion’s face, letting him go back to eating the loose hay. She turned her attention back to Arthur and sighed. She knew he must be taking it just as hard as she was, hell; his kid had killed him in his past life. Not to mention, they hadn’t decided or agreed upon this.
“What do we do, Arthur?” She frowned, unsure of whether her tea would get rid of any possibility of having a child. It can’t have been too long into it… “I could try using the herbs…” She’d told him a while ago about her method of birth control. “But I don’t know whether it would work, or if it would just make me sick…” Large green eyes looked at the king for a while, desperate for the wiser mind to answer her questions. She didn’t know if she could handle this…
