Lilith smiled at Iodine, as she stated that she recognised her. “That’s right. I think you’re my little sister too.” This statement got a gentle tug from the young water girl beside her. “Remember how I told you that my father is not Stark? And that your birth father is not Stark?” Minn nodded gently, eyeing her sister. “Well, Iodine’s father, and Jasper’s father, one of them, is the same father as ours. But he is a bad man; he hurt our mother, so Stark raised you as his own.” She smiled slightly at Iodine. “But it was fairly obvious that you weren’t.”
At the question from Iodine the girl’s emerald cat eyes looked down at her, staring into those bright blue ones that were so much like the goddess’. “I can find Flo if you want.” She tilted her head. “Many of the familiars made their way to higher ground, because they are much more tuned into the world than we are.” She smiled and touched her fore and middle fingers to Iodine’s head, finding that broken link that gave her a feel of the mind she was looking for. She did not have to look far, the feline was in the castle, somewhere. “She’s here. I am sure that you will come across her some point.” Because we will be here long enough, she held her tongue, pulling her mind away from the girl and her lost familiar.
Will they be okay? Now that was another question, one that she could not answer truthfully. The cat girl did not want to say the words ‘I don’t know’, but they were the only option that she had. She did not have any other words. But before she could get a chance, Minn finally perked up, her compressed water lips moving for the first time. “Of course we will be okay.” She said it as though it were a given. “King Arthur is in charge, and he won’t let us down. He never has. And there is Adonis, and Aura, and all the other territory leaders. We can all help to keep each other safe.” She smiled as her ocean coloured eyes looked over the Aura lookalike. “Do you know you look like the goddess?” She stated, with her childlike innocence taking over for a few moments, before she looked down, embarrassed. “Sorry, I did not mean to be rude…” She fingered the hem of Lilith’s shirt awkwardly. “We are sisters… aren’t we?” She looked at Lilith for confirmation, who nodded gently. “Would you like to go play? We can go and find your familiar…” She said quietly, knowing that they were safe in the castle. She had spent some time in the castle before, so she knew the general layout. Maybe she could help? She wanted to make friends if she was going to be trapped here, by her own element nonetheless, then she should try and make the best of it. She did not want anyone to try and blame her, she could not stop it, even if she had known that the wave was coming. She was not strong enough. Not yet, but she would get stronger…
