But I guess
That I can live without you but
Without you I'll be miserable at best

Patrick wakes to the sound of Angel beginning to cry. He sits up slowly, all his muscles ache. Blinking blearily, Patrick’s stormy eyes watch the scurrying people, the shouting and screaming children. The chaos. And, for a moment, he smiles to himself, knowing that he doesn’t have to be a part of that. He is safe, Angel is safe, and he’s pretty sure Lollipop is safe. And that’s all that mat-poo. Oh….bum. Oh, in fact, bum willy. He’s trying hard not to swear make a good impression for the kid. But…this is an absolute “oh crap” moment. How could he have forgotten? Paddy tries to stand, and smacks his head on the top of the table…hard. He falls to the floor, Angel cuddled close to his chest. Even though his head spins, Patrick still struggles out form under the table. But, he froze as a pair of liquid gold eyes were fixed on him. Only a breath away. Patrick feels his heart soar for a moment, before he remembers the second curse. Then, his stomach plummets, and the boy tries to think of some way to save the kid inside him, and the kid beside him. The Sabre Tooth’s mouth opens slowly, and Patrick prepares for his face to be eaten off.

Instead, a massive, coarse tongue scraps at his face, and Paddy blinks, opening his eyes wide.
Oh Pat-Pat! Pat-Pat!
She purred. The boy blinked at her, before a huge goofy smile spread over his face.
LOLLIPOP!
He shouted happily, before leaping at her with glee. He wrapped scrawny arms around her neck, pulling her close. The Sabre Tooth in turn wrapped a large paw around her Fey, purring loudly.
Lolli, we need to find the other Coastians. I couldn’t live with myself if they were hurt!
The Tigress nodded her large fanged head, before leaping off, she would spread the word for everyone form sunburst to meet at the large Table. No one would argue with an angry Sabre Tooth, so soon she was next to him again. The boy places a hand on his large bloated stomach, wincing as the kid kicked. In his other arm lay Angel, sound asleep with no care in the world. The pair waited silently for their…friends…yes, their friends, to come along, Patrick’s face anxious and worried, Lolli’s one of tranquillity. Everything would be alright.

I know I’m good for something I just haven’t found it yet

But we both know that I'm not that strong
And I miss the lips that made me fly
