Ilu all<33) Name: Bryce Gender: Male Appearance: Bryce has a mop of brown hair, sometimes spiked, sometimes in a fallen lump on his head. His skin is slightly tanned, his eyes a light, inquisitive blue. He still wears the tunica he was given in Aruthë- black, gold-edged with a golden shield and a grey-ish serpent weaving around the shield. His breeches were black and he wore leather riding boots. A black hide belt holds his long, black hilted sword and on the other side, a shield, black with the same logo as on his tunica rests, but sometimes, since it isn’t his, he puts it wherever he is supposed to be staying. He isn’t visibly muscled, but he is quite strong. Of middle height and weight, Bryce is quite normal. Renegade is a large black wolf, with no grey around his body anywhere. His fur is silky and soft. Unlike Bryce, his muscles are most definitely visible. Renegade is absolutely fast and strong for a wolf, and because of that he has a scary, creepy look. His eye’s match the shade of Bryce’s, so it is easy to see that they are familiar and fairy, not just fairy and large guard-dog. Age: 19 Personality: Bryce is a loyal, tough, seasoned warrior. He isn’t scared of anything but Renegade’s, his, or anyone he knows death. The eternal void scares him. Being beside Renegade turns him into a deadly fighter when he has to be. Bryce isn’t afraid to spend months, years training for goal he wants to meet, a skill he wants master, something he has to achieve. Completely driven by determination, he can seem a little odd on the first meeting, but anyone who is older and had experienced the kind of kick Bryce gets, the understand him. Feeling completely at home serving someone, Bryce would never aim to control anything, just being a warrior for a leader, preferably one with a wolf familiar. Renegade is the more violent, controlled, plotting version of Bryce. With all of Bryce’s skill, he uses his speed and strength wisely in battles and when he wants something. Renegade has a little more intelligence than Bryce, planning a little more instead of rushing headlong into something. He is just as loyal and easy to talk too as Bryce, just a little stronger and ruthless. History: Bryce was a lesser guard at the fortress of Aruthë, part of a large kingdom a young boy had inherited. Coming from a family of talented warriors and swordsmen, Bryce worked hard to live up to his family’s shadow. He received two commendations from the king and was, as soon as he hit twenty, going to be promoted to Captain. He was too young to undertake the higher jobs. Most guards are bonded to a obedient animal; one thing that ensured Bryce’s career was that his familiar was a large, regal black wolf. Renegade helped Bryce in his skirmishes with petty thieves more than the other dogs could. Renegade allowed Bryce to be put on the hunting party many a time. Together, Bryce and Renegade carved out a path so wide and a shadow so far they could have been the most successful duo ever- but then the Aarcadian’s attacked. The fortress of Aruthë was well protected. The king himself had been residing there. But, despite everyone’s best try, Aruthë fell. Renegade dragged an unconscious Bryce out of the ruins and saved him from any wandering Aarcadian warriors or thieves. They journeyed together since then, looking for somewhere else to pledge their allegiance too.
