But I guess
That I can live without you but
Without you I'll be miserable at best

What’s it like being 16 forever? Well, Patrick doesn’t know yet, but when he finds out, he’ll send you a postcard. But I wouldn’t hold your breath. Forever is an awfully long time, and he’ll live it better than you do. By the time forever’s even a quarter of a way done, you’ll be a heap of dust in the ground, and another memory neatly folded away in his head as he continues on his travels. Wait, you didn’t think he’s going to spend the rest of his life on Shaman did you? No way dude. If there’s this world and his previous world, a place called Earth, then that means there’s gotta be loads more worlds too right? So, when things start turning south once more, Paddy’s out. Peace sucker!

But now is not the time for him to be going. Now, he needs to find Rosa to look after the ki-Angel. To look after Angel. Because Lolli thinks’ she’s smelt some of the Coastian’s, and he needs to not have to worry about Angel while checking on them. So while wandering around the castle, looking for Rosa, the Sabre Tooth pauses by the door, sniffing. She blinks, and Patrick smells Zoey. He pauses, turning and looking around for her.
You know Pat-pat, you’re going to have to separate our minds soon.
Her voice was gentle in his head, but she feels his mental shrug. The tigress thought he’d been coping without her, but maybe it had caused more damage than he’s letting on. Paddy hikes Angel up a bit more who claps his pale hands and clutches at Paddy’s shirt. The little boy snuggles up to Patrick, the small head nuzzling to his armpit, the child giggling before closing his eyes and starting to go to sleep. Patrick smiles, waddling slowly along. Geez, he was sure this kid in his stomach was supposed to come out soon. But then, he’s not…equipped…to get it out. So he has to go see Poppy or Lauma. Unfortunately, the flood happened before he could find either of them, and Lauma was running around being a true Lion before the flood, so all in all, he’s a bit stuffed!

Patrick wanders out of the castle, a blanket wrapped tightly around Angel. It was cold outside, not biting winter cold, but the small amount of sunshine didn’t hold any warmth. He tucked the blanket in a bit tighter, the little bundle fast asleep. Patrick followed Lolli’s nose. The Sabre Tooth led him around the small island, before the boy pauses. Large storm grey eyes blink, looking at her. He…He stopped dead. It was Zoey. It was Zoey! Lolli’s nose hadn’t lied!

At that the Sabre Tooth glared down at her Fey, before nudging him forward. He took a step forward, a small smile spreading over the deathly pale face. She’d changed, gotten older. But Patrick, on the other hand, still looked 16. He would never grow old, never die. He was Immortal, and had Eternal Youth. It made him cringe a moment. And his free hand flopped, landing on his stomach, causing his grey eyes to widen and look at the swollen stomach with the hint of surprise. He’d forgotten about it, for a moment he was transported back to Falcon Point, back to the moment before Lollipop came. He looked up, looking for somewhere to hide. He should find Rosa, it’s her turn to look after Angel. Lollipop nuzzles Paddy, her large head leaning down, nudging the level two fairy forward. Yes, let’s just admit it, Lollipop was large, larger than any male tiger here, and, let’s admit it, larger than most, if not all, the familiars on this stupid island. And her Canines are about the size of Patrick’s forearm. So, you know a big ass “don’t mess with me” neon sign floated above them wherever they went. Patrick takes a deep breath, before waddling forward a bit.
Zoey! Hey Zoey!
He lifted his free arm, waving slightly at her. A small smile was on the emo boy’s face, though his grey eyes were timid and worried. After all, he hadn’t changed one bit since she last saw him, except for the baby on his left hip, and the big swollen stomach. But take away the kids, and time had frozen him. He was perfect and pristene, still young. You are sixteen, going on immortal.

I know I’m good for something I just haven’t found it yet

But we both know that I'm not that strong
And I miss the lips that made me fly
