A rather tall level one pixie sat up shore from the destruction of the giant wave and was resting lazily against a large boulder. A jagged edge of the large stone was jabbing into his boney back rather uncomfortably but he wasn�t feeling up to moving anywhere at the moment. The sun warmed the pale flesh of his face and only succeeded in emphasizing the rather prominent bags under his yellow eyes. His artificially blue locks tickled his thin cheeks as the breeze drifted around him.

He sighed as some of the salty air drifted over his face and filled his nostrils with the scent of the ocean. He had faintly picked up on the others screams, and the strange sound of water. Judging by the smells that reached him this far inland he assumed the third curse must have reached the island. There had been a peaceful stillness all morning but as the day drove on the stillness grew eerie and the salt began to leave an unpleasant aftertaste in his mouth.

Eventually the smells and the silence grew to be too much for him and he decided that it was time to leave. Sighing he pushed away from the uncomfortable edge digging in his back and made his way near the beach front. He paused a good way inward when he noticed trees and objects thrown in random places. He saw algae growing on the ground and on random bits of wood. He saw some houses laying in shambles in random periodic bursts the further from inland he got. Frowning, he quirked an eyebrow as the ground slowly became soggier.

Grimacing, he slowly started to come to a halt when he heard strange squelching noises, and eyed the area cautiously. He then spotted a strange, orange and brown stripped feline with rather large paws prancing right through the mud, aimed in his general direction, and he quirked an eyebrow. Glancing behind it he spotted a much younger child chasing after the feline. Bending down he reached down and scooped up the filthy feline, petting its head and looked up, waiting for the boy to reach him.
