The cygnet blinked dark eyes, shaking its small head and grey beak, swimming back to shore as the large Liger kept trying to get into the water, but finding that the debris was just too numerous for his large body to swim easily out to the young swan. With obvious resign on it’s face, it clambers onto the shore, ruffling it’s small wings before snapping its beak at the Liger, who in turn growled. How am I suppose to protect you when you keep swimming away from me? I don’t know. And I wouldn’t worry, I can go invisible if I need to, and heal myself. Or fly away if I must. The large male Liger turned fixing her with large golden eyes, glaring at the young swan. You couldn’t properly fly away, you’re only a cygnet. At that, the small bird honked at him, before waddling away indignantly. Before she got too far away, her reached out a larger paw and pulled her close again. Honk, honk, hoooooooonk! If he could have, his eyebrow would have quirked up. In English please. The cygnet glared at him, before attacking his nose with her beak. The liger, taken by surprise, releases the cygnet, who then turns and makes a break for the water. Oh no you don’t! He roars, before hooking her small body again. He picks her up in his mouth, before carrying her back up the shore. He drops her on the ground, just as the sun begins to rise. A flash of light and a few glittery moments, and a small girl sits angrily on her backside, long blonde ringlets cascading down around a small waist and large deep blue eyes glaring angrily up into golden one. Elvis you smelly. Why can’t I go swimming?! Your making me not be a swan!
Emma’s a very passionate girl. She often feels compelled to help people, sometimes beyond her so called “calling”, and Dream often commented that this was because of her healing powers. But Emma wandered if it was partly because of her mother. Aerianna often went around helping people, growing fruit for them even if they weren’t hungry. She was also a very social creature, enjoying company over solitude, and while Dream seemed to have accepted that there were times when you had to socialise, Emma threw herself in the deep end and found she was a professional. She loved talking, and playing, and just being with people. The Liger blinked large eyes as the pattered around the castle, humming slightly to himself as they walked. Aerianna had taught him Elvis Presley songs from another world, and, living up to his namesake, the Liger was a good singer, much like his mistress, and enjoyed “Hound Dog” the most. That was the song he was humming now, and Emma smiled before joining in, adding words to the tune.
