Confusion to be fair, wasn't even a strong enough word to describe how I was feeling right now. I mean I'd seen some strange things in my time, like, very strange, but nothing not nearly as weird as this woman standing before me, nor the person next to them. I inhale and stand tall as she steps towards me, knife in hand and a look of fury on her face. God women were scary sometimes. I don't know what part of me told me to step forwards, my legs had just moved there. If I was stabbed, I'm not immortal, I'm not special. Depending on where she stabbed me, I would die just as quickly as the next person.
I swallow and can feel my heart pounding against my ribs. I tense, muscles tingling ready to pounce should she make a move. But no sooner had she stepped forward that the knife drops out of her hand and hits the floor. I kick it out of the way before she has a chance to dive for it and I move forward again as she clutches her head. I was no phycic so it wasn't me. I looked to the other woman and my brow rose slowly. Immeadiatly, my usual Blakeish nature shone through and I put my hands on her shoulders.
Hey are you ok lady?
Should she have tried to strike at me, I wouldn't care right now because there was no knife. A punch would hurt no doubt but I was sure a bite back from myself would probably hurt just as much. I glance to the other woman again as she speaks and I can feel my heart pounding even harder now. Something was seriously not right here. At all. It was beginning to worry me and with the moon now shining at its highest, the wolf in me growled for answers so I could just go on my way like I had been. Unlucky for the animal though, the human voice prevailed in doing the usual caring for others before oneself.
