In life, there wasn't much that Stella took for granted. In fact, she never did. She never took the fact that she was attractive, or healthy, or happy for granted. She knew that it could be swept away at a moment's notice, or with no notice at all. So she made the most of every day, and of life. Perhaps that's why everyone seemed to gravitate towards her, and tell her about the energy she seemed to exude. Stella laughed out loud when the girl started tapping her fingers on her palm. This little one was so strange! Like an alien being. It caused Stella to like her even more. She took her hand and shook it gently. " Shyra? That's a gorgeous name. I'm very pleased to meet you." She winked and drew her thick, dark hair over one shoulder. The girl intrigued her to a monstrous level. Why didn't she speak? Maybe she was simply shy...shy Shyra. Stella couldn't help but chuckle to herself. " You seem...afraid. Don't be. I don't bite! Well, at least not hard." She shook her head and bit her lip, chewing softly on it. " Sorry, I'm babbling again...please excuse me." She tilted her head to the side and surveyed the little thing. She wasn't so very short at all onc she straightened out, and she was pretty. Not usually the type Stella went for, but then again, she knew that the last thing that the girl needed at that point was to be hit on. Stella could sense the insecurity. But she had never met anyone like Shyra before! She grinned wider and shook her head, looking down at the dark ground. She hoped day would come soon and bring a little warmth to the conversation. If she could bring the sun, she would. She wondered what the little thing looked like in the sunlight...probably too radiant to bear. Yes, she would be. So, Stella would wait out the darkness. |
