BRYCE
suicide is the only way out of here

He fell so easily into being with Poppy again that as soon as the castle floor fell his arms were out and while Renegade ran around like a useless headless chicken, Bryce was holding the disgruntled girl. He grinned, and was instantly transformed into what he used to be like. Renegade calmed, and gave Poppy a lick. “Now, I was looking for you, but you made it way too easy. Hide and seek is supposed to be hard, you know? You gotta go back to kindergarten, girl.” His hand found hers and he surreptitiously wound around her fingers.

A smile set onto his face, and Renegade lay next to him. Bryce watched Poppy, took her closer to his body. He wasn’t wet anymore, for it had dried after his rather long swim. His mop of brown hair was flapping all over the place, but he didn’t care. She was in his arms, so he was happy. Normally, he would be all frowny faced, but something in her changed him instantly. Renegade licked Poppy’s face and looked at her familiar with a sort of you-should-really-be-down-here-helping-her-you-know look. Bryce laughed lowly and looked at her intently. ”Soooooo, Poppy... How’ve you-” Renegade barked at him. Bryce shrugged, but the wolf’s mental question rang loud and clear. Even if it wasn’t formed in so many words, it was clear what the wolf wanted his fairy to do, whether he had the courage for it or not. ‘Cause you know, the emo ninja Bryce didn’t know that Poppy had went and married Draco and to be honest, he wouldn’t of cared either. He had a one track mind and once he thought of something, he would carry it out. Unfortunately for Poppy.

So Bryce leaned down a little and kissed Poppy’s lips ever so slightly, basically just a brush – but to him, it was enough. He grinned like a little kid at Christmas and slowly shuffled Poppy off him, standing up and offering the girl his hand. ”Do you need help getting up?” he asked softly, voice wrapping the air around him in masculinity- he couldn’t help it though, it was just the aura he gave off, being an ex warrior, a ninja and a total manly man-child. His other hand, the one that wasn’t being offered to Poppy brushed a little dust off his amazingly awesome ninja suit. The onyx jewels on his waist and the tip of his two katana glittered. The sword on his back almost hit the ceiling- wait, there was a hole, right? Well, it should of been hitting the ceiling, but Poppy’s stunt pretty much killed the whole tall look.

Renegade leapt onto some rubble and leapt up beside Penguin, nodding and nuzzling the dog that was bigger than him or maybe just smaller, he couldn’t tell much. He was happy to be around familiars again, and the scent of Shaman all over them made him feel so much at home. Bryce looked up at his wolf and nodded ever so slightly, as if confirming some secret plot in their own minds. Bryce turned back to Poppy, and nodded to his hand. ”I can throw you up and still make you land on your feet. Trust me.” While his suit hid his muscles, Poppy had to remember them- right?

”why is it that we fight?”
“that’s for you to you to decide. i fight to embrace my dreams.”
