Patrick was…unsure. To say the least. The little baby gurgled in his arms, snuggling closer to his chest, clutching tighter to the loose fabric and dreaming quietly. Patrick couldn’t hold still, his toes wiggling and scrunching up. Lolli nuzzled the boy, her large body pressed as close to his smaller paler one as possible. Every millimetre of flesh that could be touching was, and the pair waited, Lolli shifting her weight form standing to sitting. Grey and golden eyes cast about for Intrigue, Gloria or Freya. After a while Patrick turns to Lolli, black eyebrows pulling together.
You did find them all didn’t you?
The prehistoric tigress turns, raising an eyebrow.
Of course I did.
Her voice was a bit clipped at Patrick’s doubt, but she understands. She too is anxious to see how everyone has faired, and even though she shows Patrick images of the Coastians, he still won’t be placated until his grey eyes have seen them all.
Speak of the devil and the devil shall come. Well, one of them at least. Patrick’s grey eyes meet Freya’s his pale face obviously relaxes and a small smile even comes over the pale face. But when he watches Freya look at Lolli, and the Angel, Patrick blinks.
Did I forget to mention I scared Sarpedon?

Patrick sighed mentally, keeping that small smile on his face.
Why is he looking at Angel like that? And Sarepdon is looking at my stomach…
Patrick’s mental voice was worried, the conflicts obviously in his voice and on his face. But he wipes them away smoothly, quickly and efficiently in a matter of seconds.
He probably thinks of you as a kid like him. I don’t think he knows you have Eternal Youth and Immortality. So, you probably having kids will alienate you from him.
Patrick gives her a rather harsh mental nudge and she blinked at him.
I really didn’t want the kids, but I accept them. Don’t give me another reason to be unhappy.
A verbal “sorry” was uttered under her breath as Freya stepped close, on the opposite side of Angel, and spoke. Patrick started to turn his head, to reply, when Freya’s lips contacted his cheek. Surprise flooded through him, quickly replaced by fire. It seared his cheek, burning the flesh away. The electricity charges up, the sound of a laser being fired, the whole “peeeeeeeEEEEEEEEWWWWW” noise. But Patrick didn’t let it discharge into Freya that might kill the boy. Instead, a large fork of lightning flickers out from Patrick’s hand, scorching a wall and leaving a blackened burn mark on the wall. Patrick blushed deeply, before turning to Freya.
Heh, sorry about that. And I’ve been around. Took me a while to get here. I was so worried you and Sarpe were hurt! We both were.
He managed to indicate to himself and Lollipop, while still holding the child. He smiled at Freya, Lolli deciding to lie down. Patrick plonked himself on her back, letting himself slide down her chest and hit the cold floor with a slight thud and the pop of a protesting join. Patrick patted the floor beside him, placing Angel between Lollis forelegs. The child gurgles slightly curling up tighter and sleeping on.
How did you get here? Are you hurt at all?
He looked at the younger boy with intent grey eyes. Patrick reaches up a pale hand, stroking the Sabre Tooth behind her large caramel ear. She closed golden eyes, and her purr reverberated through her whole body, causing Patrick to giggled childishly as it tickled his back, while waiting for Freya to reply.
