Desert Howitzer sniffed the air. The fog lay thick in the world around him. His breath made its wake from his thick nostrils. He flickered his ears back and forth around him, waiting to hear something. All he heard was the water, the dew dropping off the leaves. the reeds laying a slight whisper into the air around him. The water lapped lightly at the shore of the lagoon. His feeling of being lost seemed to evaporate with the fog as the sun rose up into the sky. Desi rose his head proud as the sun hit him. His large feet sank slightly into the ground. This was his land. The feeling of protection wafted over him. Desi dropped his head and started his journey to the claiming grounds. He needed mares.
