Lolli followed Patrick as he roamed. She could feel an odd restlessness that squirmed under his flesh, and it made her skin crawl. The primal instinct that was trying to hard to break free burned through his blood, the forgotten addiction of a repressed drug. So far, Patrick was resisting the primal urges that keep surfacing in his mind. He prowled, there was no other word for it, through the corridors, Lolli close behind him.

He turned, grey eyes glaring into golden ones. She shook her large fanged head, and padded softly behind him. The boy growled, yes growled, at her, before turning and stalking off, his gait oddly silent and predatory.

Patrick followed some deep unknown instinct that led him right to the storage room. There was no one on the door, and he opened the latch, blinking slightly in the gloom, before wandering in. grey eyes widen at the amount of food (or lack of) in the storage room. He didn’t realize that the food shortages were this bad. Sure, everyone was hungry, but he hadn’t realized just how awful it was. Being friends with an earth manipulator had its benefits, and immortality was useful too. But just because he was immortal doesn’t mean he can’t feel pain. And starving to…what should be death really didn’t appeal to the boy. And the fact that there was only a few scraps of food here and there made him shudder. Patrick walked forward (yes walk, his waddle has kindly abandoned him now that he is no longer a walking hippo) and eyes a large bit of salted meat. He picked it up, turning and looking at Lollipop. Grey eyes flick to the meat in his hand, and his hand freezes. It was outstretched to the Sabre Tooth, but Lolli watched with wide eyes as the boys pupils dilated, then contracted, and he suddenly hugged the meat close, growling savagely at the prehistoric tigress. She blinks at him, watching with slight bemusement as he took a large bite out of it. He chewed, before swallowing and taking another bite quickly. He was scoffing the food down so she couldn’t get any.
Patrick? Are you ok?
At the sound of her voice, he leaped back, dropping the meat and making a beeline for the exit. Lolli leapt after the barefoot boy, the flash of pale skin seen rounding a corner before disappearing.

She spoke aloud as her mind was preoccupied with the fact that Patrick’s mind had turned primeval. She was, to be very blunt, scared. There was no logical thinking in Paddy’s usually very thoughtful mind. Instead, it was just “hungry, hungry, hung…” The pause made her run faster, and she skittered to a halt behind Patrick, who was staring intently at the end of a corridor. His head tilted to the side, like a dog, and then Lolli bit him.

A large amount of pain came from his arm, and he yelped, spinning around and glaring at the Sabre Tooth that was attached to his arm.
Lolli! WHAT THE FUCK?!?!
He bellowed at her. She released his arm, before glaring and speaking.

She pointed her nose at the red head at the end of the corridor. Patrick blinked, turning to see the girl. Once more he tilted his head, before feeling an itch all over his skin. He felt his mind narrow, and a single thought started to try and take over, Patrick shuddered, and Lolli moaned.
