Within The Ridges lie Hoof Prince's bloodiest battlefields. Horses from every length of Hoof Prince congregate here for one simple and primal reason - to battle. The rush of adrenaline draws them closer, the scent of blood spurning them into action, the heat of glory pressing them onward. And here, the victorious become heroes. Fights are roleplay only and are judged based on realism, skill, creativity, and proper written form. For more information, please visit the Rules page and select "Challenging".

When announced there will be wars where you can win tokens. When a war is posted, anyone that wants to participate will post under the thread, and after 3 days (real life), Altus will pair up fighters. Fights are done in bracket fashion... therefore the first round will take place, and winners of the first round will progress to the second and so forth until there is one winner. For more information, please visit the Rules page and select "War".

If you wish to spar a specific player, you may post a spar challenge here (they do not accept as they would with a challenge). You may also post your terms and wait for someone to accept and spar you. Those who are fighting are allowed to set their own terms though, as far as number of attacks, wager, etc as long as both players agree on them. There are no time limits for spars but you may only spar a maximum of 2 times per month!

Both the challenger and the challenged must agree to a wager in order to fight. Only the winner of the spar collects the tokens wagered, the loser does not regain their wager.

Wager 3: Win 6, etc

Terms: 1 attack each; you can use elemental attacks and defenses as you want but they count as attacks and defenses. The judge understands this to mean that there is ONE attack and ONE defense each, and if elements are used that counts as either the ONE attack or ONE defense.

Physical Attack:
Originality: 5/5 Interesting twist on a common attack. I really love the ingenuity!
Execution: 3/5 I would’ve liked to see more detail about what could’ve happened. Also, keep in mind Shysie is very pregnant right now, and would not be moving with the speed and grace she would have normally would have been.
Plausibility: 3/5 This had a 50/50 shot of working. While neither stats were posted (breed, height)

Execution: 4.5/5 Great information, would’ve like to see more description on actual attack instead of everything that happened/could happen.

Physical attack was ignored due to Judge’s interpretations of the rules. Terms were loosely interpreted as no combo-attacks, though it appears Voraer/Obsidian did not interpret those as such. Next time, just be clear with the terms. <3

Damage taken: 3/5 What complications could the colic have on your unborn child, since the child is very near term (due date of 4.20.10 ) ? While a mare is in her last trimester, unless she receives medical treatment or surgery there is a high percentage of abortion of the unborn child. While water is a very natural way of cleansing the system, please keep in mind your current situation.

Notes:
Shysie: Holy crap, girl! For your first battle, you did marvelous. Remember to keep in mind Shysie’s current condition (i.e pregnancy) when taking your attacks and defenses into account. That’s really where you lost the most points. I loved your attack and defense – very clever, especially with the use of your element!
Voraer: Your elemental attacks keep getting more and more creative. I sincerely enjoy reading through your battle posts. Just mind the terms next time! <3
