If I could find another thirty minutes somewhere

And I'll be here by the ocean
Just waiting for proof that there's sunsets and silhouette dreams
All my sand castles fall like the ashes of cigarettes
And every wave drags me to sea
I could stand here for hours

Patrick aimed a well deserved blow at some random persons head. His faithful guitar resounded with a loud “twang” and he swore. Don’t tell me one of the strings broke. Ah, no, it was just that the guy’s ear had caught under the string and twanged it. Thank god! How would the boy survive if his beloved guitar was broken? The crazed Fairy makes another try at Angel, and the child screams, clutching at the Sabre Tooth’s large chest. She crouched low of the child as Patrick aimed another swing. But his powers had other, brilliant ideas. They sent a large charge of electricity down the guitar and discharging it into this crazed Fairies head. With a loud “thump” they hit the wall, dazed and a loud ringing in their ears.
Cannibal! Next time, try aiming for someone who isn’t so bothered about their kids!
He bellows, before scooping the wailing Angel up and storming off. The prehistoric tigress roars, before turning and trotting after her Fairy and his cub. The group head back to their room. Patrick had just ushered Angel through the door when the sound of footsteps alert him to someone else’s presence.

The boy turns, just as Rissa bumps into him. He blinked wide eyed at her. A smile begins to appear on his face, but it dies instantly at her words. “Hate”, “I hate you”. He flinched back as her fists connected with his pale, bare chest. He blinks down at her, sending a confused thought to Lolli. At this, the Sabre Tooth sighs.
Where’s the baby?
The boy blinks, looks around for a second, and sees nothing. She’s upset.
You…you think it’s dead?
I smell the faint breath of a corpse on her.
The baby, his baby, had died.

Finally, her fists stop pounding a rhythm on his chest, and he places a finger under her chin. The slight burning didn’t affect him too much, the idea that Rissa had been living with this all alone hurt him more.
Rissa, I’m sorry. Why…why didn’t you come and find me?
He strokes her face, his fingers softly brushing at the non-existent tears.

The boy swallows and he feels the pressure rise in his head. His pupils dilate then contract, and he stares at Rissa for a moment. His free hand wraps around her thin waist and pulls her close. What’s he doing, what’s he doing?! He can’t do this! No he can’t! What happened to the other child? It died. What happens if another is born dead? What does that mean? He has 3 healthy kids, sure on has a monkey tail but meh, but one stillborn. What, does it mean Rissa’s not able? Or maybe they’re not compatible. That must be it! So why, Patrick, are you trying to seduce her.

The curse was slowly blocking out his rational mind, and Lolli growls quietly, nervously. Half of her feels the urge to leave and close the door, make sure the kids are all fast asleep and tucked up. The other part doesn’t want to leave Patrick alone. So, she doesn’t. She watches, making sure that the boy doesn’t do anything too foolish, but knowing she won’t be able to stop him. Golden eyes widen as Patrick leans in, brushing his lips against Rissa’s. Boy he’s gonna be so pissed with her if he comes to soon.

Just to ask God the question, "Is everyone here make-believe?"
With a tear in His voice, He said, "Son, that's the question."
Does this deafening silence mean nothing to no one but me?
