To change who I used to be A reason to start over new And the reason is you Her breath caught in her throat and her heart skipped beats as she waited for him to say it back to her. That he loved her too, that they could spend forever together. She didn’t know Paddy was immortal, but right now that couldn’t even of spoiled it. She waited for it, she waited- and there it was. Her heart bursted with joy and happiness, and as he leaned in to kiss her, her breath caught again. After he pulled away a little, she was left breathless and red, eyes and face lit up like little lightbulbs. Then something changes in him. Zoey felt the same kind of tug- but she is one of the ones who fights it off, at least some of the time. The tug falls apart in her brain and she is left clearminded as Lollipop’s voice comes into her head. The fourth curse? What? Zoey didn’t understand, but she understood the ever so slight urgency of the kiss and without the curse pulling her on she is lost to him already. She pulls herself onto him and breathes in his scent, arms around his shoulders. Her lips meet his and she doesn’t care what happens next with him, as long as it was him and not Mallos, not again. Zoey doesn’t even think of the twins in their cot, or of Othello having to manage her feelings as well as his own, feelings of disgust. His fairy was behaving like a love struck teen! Oh wait.... She was a teenager. He frowned and crawled over to Lollipop and buried his head in the sabertooths pelt. “You can do what you like, you know, Patrick?” Her voice was soft and caressing, as it slipped through the air and wrapped themselves around Patrick. Her hands linked behind his neck and she slowly kissed along his jawline, enjoying the moments with him. She wasn’t usually like this, admittedly, but something in her snapped without the need of the curse. He was taken over, sure, but she was acting without any mind play or tricks. Damn Mallos for making possibly the best moment in her life due to his little rats. Damn! But no, like she cared. It was still happening, right? But would he... Would Paddy... Lets not think about that, because thinking leads to second thoughts and knowing about things you’d rather not. Zoey shut her eyes, and just readied herself for whatever Paddy was gonna do. and the reason is you <3 |
