All the air, all the comfort that had left a glimpse of home quickly dissipated with the progress of the instant gathering. The proximity of several others added to the discomfort of heat feeding to the displeasure and ferocious emotions of the group. She knew she could feel the crawl of frustration fill her heart at the sight of two who were, quite frankly, intruders. The femme of dark intents held an air similar to that of the Queen, Viriarus, yet something in her was disconcerting, her very presence making her uncomfortable for the colt's sake. She yielded these feelings, turning instead to the stallion who was, by far, the most intrusive trespasser. Though she wanted ever more to simply chase them off, leave Moose and herself to the foal's needs, yet she could not unless the situation allowed it. She held so little in her abilities, she knew it well, and would not fall foolish to a situation she could very well be unable to handle. Instead she shifted and rested her gaze to her charge, the child, until the air shifted once more and attuned the prep for the arrival of the queen herself.

NicEssus shifted where she stood, knowing full well of her position in the ranking she was of little consequence to her queen. The colt taking place between herself and Moose reminding her of her reason to be here she allowed that uncomfortable shift to place her a little further between the colt and the gathering. Viriarus' response drew her full attention to the situation at hand and she grimaced. A Rajput? how could she have not seen this? No matter, as she was still fairly new to it all she pardoned her mistake and immediately noted his scent to her memory. Next time she would not be so ignorant. She allowed a stifled snort to contort the air about her muzzle in a soft sound, irons kneading the earth as she passed glances between Viriarus and the Rajput. The light seemed to thicken, radiating evenly from her body as her own defenses rose. The warmth of the glow was so calming, yet it did nothing to collapse the emotion strained by his presence. Though the colt was aligned of the male attributes he held no need unless desired to leave the lands of the Valkyries, this was, perhaps, the reason behind the sudden appearance of the Stallion. She could come to this conclusion quickly, but perhaps there was something else behind it, something untold to them save for a select few. Either way, Viriarus was on the trail to figure it out for all of them.
