The osprey's refined skull inquiringly tipped to the side as her golden orbs curiously surveyed the ivory bird's actions. His squawk still resounded within her cranium and she was pleased that she had succeeded in wrestling the obscure noise from his beak. He had flittered towards her with little hesitation after her playful action, settling himself beside her, his gaze intent upon her. His beak had parted, his tongue poised as if he was finally going to gift her with words only for a disappointing silence to fill the interwoven branches they resided in. Her gaze was expecting for several moments, her complete attention rested on him till a voice echoed with a chuckle in her brain. 'He's toying with you.'. A frown etched her features which slowly transformed into a deathly glare. Tenembrage was right, of course. He was toying with her and worst of all she had hardly realized it. Fiducia turned sharply in her place to position herself so that her back was to the nocturnal avian. Her cranium was tilted upwards in a pouting position but her gaze remained intent upon her obsidian half.
A sly grin tugged at Tenembrage's features at the action of his winged girl. She never ceased to amuse him, that much was true. His concentration shifted back to the grullo vixen as her lips parted. His ebony orbs drifted over her physic to note the change in her demeanor during his observation of his axian. His features slowly returned to their apathetic state as his skull tips slightly in her direction, his pinnacles standing straight atop his cranium. An interesting name? He pauses for a moment, as if to consider whether or not he had been complemented. Tenembrage had never found his name anything more than just that and so he simply bobs his cranium slightly as if to say 'thank you' or 'I know' depending on how she chose to take. His bodice shifts somewhat tentatively and it's quite clear he's at a loss of what to say, being the first female he's ever courted.
His optics settled over her, curiously observing the shake of her ebony locks. She was entirely enchanting, that much was certain. "Athena, would it be too much for me to assume you are homeless? Or to brash of me to invite you to the Vale?" Despite his inexperience, his lyrics held a certain tone of confidence, a confidence which Fiducia was clearly pleased of. 'You would do well to play nice with her bird." His tone was silently scolding as he reprimanded his axian, while still spearing to be giving the female before him his devout attention. The osprey paused long enough to turn and glance in the direction of the ivory male before retorting, 'He's hardly worthy playing nice.. Despite his best, some factors just could not be tamed and Fiducia was one of those extraneous variables.
