The sleek frame of the female before him was quite attractive, but nothing that Achilles would be interested in. How would an owl like himself possibly love a creature such as her. The answer was he couldn't, so he didn't feel bad when she turned away from his ridiculous display. He puffed out his ivory feathers and stretched his wings once again. As he took off, he managed to bat the other bird on the head. He hadn't meant to do it, but if she followed him, it would be okay. Approaching the two equine ahead, Achilles called to his mouse grey companion, eying the dark beast cautiously. He seemed harmless, and his Axian seemed responsible enough. He decided that it couldn't hurt to go along with them.
Athena's eyes raked over Tenembrage's body as if she was going to eat the poor lad. She certainly was lonely all by herself, not counting Achilles of course. The cold winds howled now, surely a sign that the winter would be fierce. Finding another to share body heat with would be a wise choice now. The mare bobbed her head, mirroring the brute, in agreement with his words. "I don't mind a bit. It is true I do not have a home, and this winter will be hard to go through alone. I would be honored to accept your invitation," she replied, turning her attention to her approaching pal. She didn't hear the beats of the Osprey's wings, but she assumed they wouldn't be far behind.
Achilles circled the pair a few times before landing on a large stone near Athena. His yellow optics stared to the very soul of Tenembrage, and he hoped that it would frighten him just a bit. The winds blew his feathers, but their bitter cold held no effect. He was impervious to this type of weather, and the hope of snow filled every inch of his mind. Of course, he would not be able to make it snow, but hopefully someone else would. Allowing the other pair to hear him for the first time, Achilles spoke softly, "If you don't mind, we should be heading home soon. I'm sure Athena will want to get to know you a bit better in the safety of your territory."
