 Was this right or wrong? But then what is right and what is wrong? They are simply perceptions of the world around you. Rules, codes, morals to control, confine structure the uncontrollable, the un-confinable the un-structure-able. The ability to perceive to think thought process so complex and interwoven creates a web or rules some dare to break though they know they shouldn’t, others seek to uphold. A perception is not truth merely an interpretation. Right and wrong are terms used to perceive a world that that we want to control, to own. We want power over others we want to control a chaos that is beyond one human alone to control. These rules this sense of right and wrong is bred into a human. It goes further than a natural instinct it is what your taught what someone you perceive as more important expects of you. Perception isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. Right and wrong are simply ideas animals don’t have a sense if right and wrong just what is more dangerous than them simpler and less chaotic. So is humanity really all that great? Humanity has a deeper knowledge but with that knowledge comes so much more weight and fear and cages. Humanity seeks freedom constantly but never fully achieves it because they fear and fear is a stronger emotion than knowledge, it strips boundaries, walls, and smashes civilisations apart. Fear is an emotion not a perception. Yet we fear to do wrong so where does the line come between perceptions and emotions. Things we think and things which are? This is too philosophical for phoenix to think of now. Loki on the other hand he’s smart sure and he still has those perceptions of right and wrong but this is Loki; and anything with the name of a god of mischief is going to have rather questionable methods and ideas especially of those of right and wrong. Would it be right for him to stop Phoenix? It probably would but he won’t because he’s already considered that and his mistress is bigger than him and more dangerous. Phoenix would never truly hurt her familiar but she could make life difficult for him. So he’s staying out of this, he may be supposed to be her voice of reason but he wasn’t going to reason unless she tried to kill someone otherwise silence seemed best to the fox. She should stop, she shouldn’t be this close, and she shouldn’t have this feeling... what feeling was it though. She was trying to cling to that thought o hold onto it as tight as she could to not let herself go with the emotions she was trying to keep locked down. But why was that so difficult to do and why should she? Why was she fighting it, what was it? Questions that would later torment her now seemed so insignificant not worth listening to. Douleur, so that was his name, had she wanted his name? She couldn’t quite recall it bothered her for a moment, but a moment is hardly anything. She was gone, at the touch to her skin, as though flesh and flesh was the only thing needed to crack the last restraint she was using to hold herself away with. If she looked now she’d see herself glowing that same dark red as others who were under the influence. It didn’t matter. What didn’t matter? She couldn’t remember couldn’t think. Animal, primal needs, urges they were the only important things now. The brush of lips against hers, the scent that she inhaled tipped her over. It felt like falling tumbling off the edge of humanity to the animal. She wouldn’t reject wouldn’t eject. She was reaching as soon as lips pressed to lips and the animal inside took over its control the soft brush was not enough. She pressed forward her lips harder, and her teeth nipped outwards. Stop. She should stop. The animal on the inside didn’t pay heed to the voice that most would call reason. Bruised lips pulled away as she fought to catch air into her lungs. |
