The air is heavy as you make your way through unknown territory, as you pause to sniff the air a drop of rain falls onto your nose. It is soon followed by another and another and soon the rain is pelting down in sheets, soaking you to the bone. The clouds are an angry purple and the menacing drumming of thunder rolls over the sky. Squinting your eyes against the blinding water you find yourself at the edge of a large, dark pine forest. You are too desperate for shelter to notice the scents that mark the border and plunge in, and nearly into the chilly stream that runs through the territory. You veer away and as you are shaking the water out of your fur you notice a large pair of icy blue shards gazing at you. The storm has passed now and beams of sunlight filter through the thick canopy of pines, illuminating a massive male wolf not three feet away from where you stand.

His pelt looks like a bad patchwork job of black and white and beneath them you see large, hard bands of steely muscle and you know this is a warrior for his torso is marred with many battle scars. His banner curls over his back and his lips are drawn, exposing sharp ivory daggers. When he speaks his voice is deep and dominant, like the thunder you so recently heard.

"Wolf, you have found yourself in the terra of the Andere Seite Pack. I am Eclipse, king of this land."

It is only then that you notice another pair of lanterns gleaming in the penumbra and a dark-pelted fae slinks out into the clearing to stand next to the king, her own banner waves and her green and blue eyes bore into you. She is the same size as most males and a crisscrossing pattern of scars show that she too can take care of herself. Her voice is cold and has a snake-like sound to it yet you can see they are both fair rulers.

"And I am Nephthys, queen of Andere. We don’t care much for strangers so you must make your choice, Submit to us now or flee our lands and never return. If you fail to do either you will have little time left to regret it."

The formidable pair pierces you with their gaze and you feel as if all your secrets spill out before them. You are left with a decision now. Will you submit and take refuge in this dark forest or will you flee and never know what secrets these trees hide? Make haste, you can see that the pair grow tired of waiting.

She really was trying to ruin his day with her ignorant, pack dog behavior. He snarled just as fiercely back, almost making it look like he deserved to be here. He knew the technicalities and he knew she had no chance in hell of beating him. She was tired just standing there and he would take full advantage of that fact. He was having too much fun to notice the shifting scents that started drifting closer towards him. He advanced further, closer to her, his frame lowering and his eyes focused on his soon to be prize. She may not be any fun, but he would get what he could out of her. His head snapped right as a large mottled shape collided head on into him, it surprised him and a yelp escaped his maw not from pain but utmost surprise. He hit the ground hard and was on his feet in a second and merely glanced to the attacker that had knocked him off his feet.

He turned back and lunged at Jewel, an unexpected motion that left him vulnerable, but these little missies didn’t know who or what they were dealing with. He aimed to knock her over; a fall would be much harder on her as it would to rise with such a heavy wide load. He stood over her and wasted precious seconds uttering an evil little chuckle before lowering his jaws to her throat. Literally seconds before he snapped at her life cord, he was again thrown aside, but he didn’t stop like last time. Someone or something had a hold on his scruff and a few seconds later he collided into a much harder surface, a vertical one.
He crumpled to the ground shaking his head, then leapt to his feet and turned on the ebony wolf, which had already turned partly away from him and jumped on his back, sinking his teeth into his neck.

It had seemed an endless course of obstacles to get to his love. He had only just heard Jena’s howl and it only made him angry with himself that he could not track a rogue in his own pack lands. He had turbo-charged it straight to their colliding scents and not slowed but sped up on arrival to knock the intruding male that stood over his mate. He truly believed she was dead, as e saw no movement and this angered him so much that he took the brute and smashed him senselessly into a solid oak. The brute seemed unconscious and against better judgment he turned to check Jewel and saw signs of life. Such relief flooded him that he was surprised when the wolf was on top of him in an instant, ripping onto him. Baroq cried out and instantly charged at full speed, flinging himself on the ground and all of a sudden the brute swiped at his face, momentarily dazing Baroq. He kicked all four feet out and caught the brute off guard in the stomach.

He got up as quick as he could, fully expecting to be taken down, but the brute was now dead, under the demise of a pitch-black alpha.

Paws thumped the earth, shredded the dirt as earth and wolf collided almost silently and acted together like two lovers in a relationship. They both needed each other, the wolf needed the earth for a home and the earth needed the wolf for a companion, especially when the moon was at its fullest. He had heard the alarm howl and had proceeded swiftly towards the invasion site. He could smell Kimani with newcomers and knew she would also notice his scent there and know he would take care of it. He had charged in, scars drawn, tools slightly open, ready to fuck someone up and quickly knocked the brute down and ripped open his throat. It wasn’t surprising how fast these wolves died anymore and he scowled at the freshly dead heathen before his blood stained paws. He sighed and turned, first padding over to Baroq and nudging him to rise. The gentle brute seemed shocked; usually those so close to death do so as he was. He immediately paced over to Jewel and licked her and Plague followed tentatively, also looking at Jena. He smiled at her.

Everyone Okay?

It was his first priority to establish whether anyone was hurt seriously or not. Sure, Baroq had been bitten; a slash to the neck, but it was going to be fine as it wasn’t bleeding much.
