Ice Mountain

The Ice Mountain is much smaller than Wolf Mountain, yet climbing up it is far more difficult and shouldn't be attempted in winter. Some creatures collect the shiny stones at the peak of this mountain for necklaces.

Wind. Yonas loved wind. He nearly worshipped it. The feeling of wind in his icy-grey fur, the sound as it whoosed through the greenery, the smell of all the creatures it had passed, he loved it all. Steely eyes were closed as the cloudy snow leopard lounged on a branch of a low-hanging tree. One may think the tree was on it's last legs, gnarled and twisted, it barley even birthed leaves, but Yonas found it to be the best place in the world for a cat-nap.
The leopard was young, but not naiive, and he was small, but muscular. Not that he was the fighting type, he found it amusing to watch, yes, but he never really took a place on a battlefield. Coward? No, he preferred to be called aloof and attentive, and maybe even peaceful, although he had enjoyed more than his fair share of chaos in his three years.
Yonas twitched his black ears, one of which had a large hole in it, as he picked up sounds from all directions of his tree. He heard creatures, small and large running about the rocks and grass of the mountain, padding in what snow there was. In particular, he picked up a sound not too far from his tree. Raising his head lazily, he opened one eye to examine the new specimen of his attention.
A grey wolfess, he saw, looking too pleased with herself for his taste. Yonas had never been amazing at judging what mood others were in, but he was also slow to speak, because his words, as he knew, could get him into big trouble, and his feline keister kicked to no end. He watched her as she reached the base of the great structure, not entirely sure if he should make his presence known. He wasn't too pleased with how she laughed to herself either, to be honest, Yonas wasn't generally pleased with much, but one thing was for certain, she was definently going to see him, because a nice large great cat slunk on a low-slung branch, not even five feet high, wasnt exactly a a hidden creature.

So instead, he stretched, yawned, and waited for her to cross his path. Heh, maybe she would make a fun pasttime.
