The moon reflects softly on the water's surface and the ripples that flow show the presence of life. Tall reeds bend majestically, making the picture seem good and serene. Don't let it fool you.

Desi watched for a moment while the mare slept. He then refilled her leaf of water and plucked some large grass and reeds from the waters edge and placed them by the leaf. She would be ok for now. He would have to make this very quick.
He slowly backed up, watching to make sure his exit would not be followed by the mare waking for her much needed rest. he would be back very soon.
He then turned and made his way to the waters edge, taking a drink. He was on his way to the Rajput territory after this. He needed an alliance. Hopefully he could return to Asra successful. He then glanced at the lying mare one last time before trodding off in the direction of the rajputs.
