Island Resort

The little herd left early that morning. They traveled along the same path along the river that they used to get to the Valley in the first place. Traveling across the Field, he kept a close eye out for stallions that may try to approach his mares. Finally exiting the Field they traveled through the woods for many miles. They had left the Valley three hours ago when they finally reached the coast. Almost there, he thought to himself. Walking along the beach, tall rocks and cliffs towered above them. The air smelled of the sea and salt and he inhaled the fresh air. Seagulls circled around overhead. He liked walking on the sandy beach. Kicking up his heals, he broke out into a run, galloping on ahead. He suddenly slid to a stop, sending sand flying everywhere. He turned back towards the two, encouraging them to play.

Laughing, he finally slowed down as he spotted the sea arch up ahead. "We must go through there." He said happily, gesturing towards the arch. Passing under it, he lead his herd to an even more secluded beach. An island was visible off the coast. The red roan came to a stop, letting the women to catch up. Gesturing once more, he pointed his head towards the island. "There it is," he said happily. "Our new home." He was so happy he could hardly contain himself. He watched his mares to see their response, hoping they were as happy as he was.
