TO ALL RETIREES,
Please be advised of the death of George Steinbrenner. Most know him due to his ownership of the New York Yankees. Why we should remember him is for his full support of the Police & Fire Services. Mr. Steinbrenner was instrumental in founding The GOld Shield Foundation. As you know, the GOLD SHIELD aids the fallen Police or Fire families and their children. The
Gold Shield Foundation has helped with every one of our fallen members of the Police and Fire Services. George was our friend and will be missed.
