Ice Mountain

The Ice Mountain is much smaller than Wolf Mountain, yet climbing up it is far more difficult and shouldn't be attempted in winter. Some creatures collect the shiny stones at the peak of this mountain for necklaces.

Lucien halted. It was still a few feet from the level ground below, but the sight of Rikku made him stop in his tracks. Her scent immediately made him wary. Humans and bears... Bears weren't something he'd actually encountered up close, but from what he'd gathered they were bigger than him. Humans were another story. While he knew all weren't bad, not all were good either. The risk of being hunted or sent to a zoo were not something Lucien wanted to calculate.

His long tail twitched at the tip, flicking back and forth in anticipation. The dog wasn't doing anything, so the snow leopard remained still for the time being. There were no other scents around. After a long period of silence, bright blue eyes fixed on Rikku's green. Any other time, the silence might've been unnerving. Lucien didn't think so, spending a lot of him time in silence.

He made a single leap, landing on the ground with a soft whump while still keeping a respectable distance between himself and the canine. "You smell lost," Lucien said with a slight tilt of his head. The snow leopard felt that was the most appropriate statement at the time, especially since the scent of the wild was starting to over-power the scent of humans on the dog.
