Ice Mountain

The Ice Mountain is much smaller than Wolf Mountain, yet climbing up it is far more difficult and shouldn't be attempted in winter. Some creatures collect the shiny stones at the peak of this mountain for necklaces.

Zeox weaved through pine trees and climbed up the mountain. He was new to living on his ow so he thought he might as well get to know the place. He had only been to a few places around the mountain. He lives on the mountain itself for a short time but he was a teenager now and he decided he wanted to live on his own. He missed Comet often but he also loved the freedom it brought.

He walked on easy paws until he couldn't climb higher. At the top of the peak he sat. It took him a long while and his paws hurt but it was worth it. He could see over the land and it was a beautiful view. His silvery-black fur glinted in the sunlight. It was colder up here but it was nice sense his black fur always made him so hot down below. He looked around and saw many stones and picked up one that was red fused with orange and yellow. He looked at it then laid down cooling himself off in the snow. His fur was so thick and shaggy he was almost hot on the top of the mountain made of ice. He watched everywhere for any movement of any sort.
