Well, it was a long and rewarding day for the above cause. First, I want to again "THANKS," the association and our members for your open hearts at our July general membership meeting. It helped Paul and family greatly.
I regret to inform all of you that Marcy did not make it to the benefit yesterday. Marcy passed away on August 22nd in the company of family and friends. The benefit went on as scheduled, yesterday, and it was a HUGE success. The crowd was estimated at over 300 and it lasted from 8am-6pm. We raised approximately $6,100 at the show and will have a ton of horse related items which will be going on e-bay to benefit the family. Paul Green and his daughters, Tawny and Morgan, say , Thank you and God Bless everyone who helped them. I know that Marcy is looking down and is very pleased that so many cared so much for her and her family. I am sure she has a great big smile today.
