"And the men never too young to start falling for it either," Cass quipped, though lightly with the purpose of keeping the conversation more positive than it had been a few moments ago. She offered an impish smile to Lanny as she said that, clearly intended as a trite return for his 'Women' statement, and went on, "Don't think I won't teach her a thing or two, either." Johann shook his head slowly from side to side, giving Lanny a 'good luck with them' expression, and then went about adjusting the table the younger man had provided to a proper height. Once he'd done that, he lay the paper out on the table and began - slowly and laboriously - to print large, rudimentary looking letter on the page with his right hand. He wasn't at all uncoordinated with that hand; as a knife fighter once upon a time, he'd learned to do many things with his non-dominant hand. Writing just didn't happen to be one of them. But while it seemed to be taking him an inordinate amount of time, and certainly his letters were foolish and lopsided in appearance, they were legible enough. "I'll need this posted immediately," he commented, to the open air of the general vicinity rather than focusing the statement upon either of the young people. "And it'll need to be posted overnight - not handled by one of the boys, either. This one's top class; needs top security."
(huh - that's weird. i just got out of the shower, and i had noticed while i was in there that my right ankle was stiff, so when i got out, i bent down to take a look, and it's swollen up! it's swollen pretty badly, but the strange thing is that it doesn't hurt at all... not when i walk, and not when i touch it. it just feels a little weird. i've got ice on it, but i really don't know what i could have done to it >< oh, the mysteries of hypermobility syndrome! ^^)
