Ice Mountain

The Ice Mountain is much smaller than Wolf Mountain, yet climbing up it is far more difficult and shouldn't be attempted in winter. Some creatures collect the shiny stones at the peak of this mountain for necklaces.

The deep tones of the laughing dragon seized her senses, but she detected no apparent hostility in it. Maybe she was playing it too safe…but oh well. It wasn’t as if she would be able to take on the dragon before her and win, or at least without severe injuries. But no matter, he was pleasant enough to talk to. When he began explaining about this Dracana, of how her skills and prowess as a stealthy assassin were as coveted as they were veiled and unknown, well this certainly only drew her attention in further. She lifted her head a bit higher, her tail keeping its slow sway by her ankles while her tanzanite orbs gleamed with a mischievous flicker similar to her brothers’- the subtle signs of her feline intrigue.

She turned from him, presenting him with her side as she eased over the small ledge she was on. The muscles gave a tight ripple visible against the violet pelt, and she nimbly leapt onto the base ridge where Chromium had settled on. She neared him slowly-cautiously though still managing the wild grace of her species. She stopped short of him- a comfortable distance away and eased into a sitting position.

“Best in the world, ne? Quite the accomplishment.” She said with a bit of awe, talking under her breath more to herself than the dragon. Perhaps it was because she was so unknown- and yet so lethal- was what contributed to her reputation. Her brows quirked and she inclined her head when he continued speaking. She ran through previous scents and encounters while inhabiting Ice Mountain, and with something to focus on she was able to recollect a few scents that always seemed to linger no matter where she went. Up till now she hardly paid any mind to it, but now with the new meaning to the scent its worth had surely… gained. Though if the wolf truly was the master, the odds of her tracking down the wolfess on her own territory were slim. Though not completely a lost cause.

“Now that you mention it, there are a few scents that seem to stick out here…” she trailed off, still a bit miffed that she had been so ignorant. Even though her purpose was a bit unclear, she felt a flicker of competition? She didn’t like other to get the better of her for long, probably why. “Assassin business?” She inquired, looking back at the dragon and wrapping her tail around her folded hindquarters. “She wouldn’t be the only one, I’ll be looking forward to meeting this-“ She cut off, suddenly realizing she hadn’t a name to call her by. “-Master then.” She substituted. A light chuckle worked its way from her maw in the moment, cold and velvet. With so few words the dragon had been able to entice her and play with her natural curiosity, and now there was a possible meeting with a rather infamous wolf in the near future. There was a part of her that still thought names and titles were just that, and that worth was always proven, which also spurred her reaction. Perhaps there was also an actual future to face ahead of her? She kept those thoughts at bay, deciding to ponder over it at a later time.

She sensed that this little encounter would be ending soon, not only did she still have to meet up with her brother but the dragon probably had other matters to attend to. She kept patient though, unconsciously enjoying the conversation with the foreign mythical.

((No worries ^^))
