Traydon River

This river is famously known for its fish!

God, it just feels so good!

The river even smelled like fish. Pandora flew over the fish-infested river, tracing its serpentine shape like a stencil. In her right hand was a box with a cross on it; both the cross and the box were two times longer than wide. The box was not very big, and was wooden. However, it had a mysterious gold lock on it. Pandora never knew what was inside the box, but never wanted to open it. It was up to her father whether or not she may open the box. In her other hand was a very large ruby. Dragons love to hoard jewels, and Pandora wished to start a collection of jewels. A nice ruby would be nice to begin the collection with.

The Red Back + Blue Back + Black Wild + Metal dragoness carried a baby dragon of the same species on her back. His name was Thrax for no specific reason. He was holding a jewel the size of his head on his belly as he lied on his back on top of Pandora. Pandora periodically looked behind her to check to see if Thrax had fallen off.

Pandora was a blue dragon, with the exception of an occasional red scale and metallic legs. Her wings were large and transparent, with blue trim in the front of the wing. Her son Thrax was red with a blue tail, muzzle, and blue legs. His wings were transparent with red trim in the front, and metallic stripes running down his body. Except for maybe Thrax's ruby eyes, neither of them showed as much of a trace of the Black Wild inside of them.

Pandora flew happily over the river. She took in the wonderful, gentle gusts that are magnified by her speed. She closed her eyes for a second to take it in much easier. Her father had told her that a medicine wolf had once said, "Sight is the weakest sense of all. It only deceits the mind and covers the other six senses." She never got why it had said six other senses (smell, hearing, touch, taste, maybe telekinetic, and what!?), but she figured that it was not the point of the proverb. Pandora then opened her eyes, and checked again to see if Thrax was still there. He was.

Pandora smiled and looked forward. The scaly beast continued to fly. The only stress she currently had was Thrax; her cruel father she hardly knew was dead, her annoying half-brother was nowhere in sight, and she was still alive. What is there not to like about being alive? That same medicine wolf had said, "Don't take your life for granted." However, she had added, "...but be willing to give it up not for others, not for yourself, but for the one you follow." That makes her cringe. She followed her cruel father, who was an evil wolf. Why would she want to give her life for him!?
