For those who know Frank Pernas, he is in St Joseph with a large mass in his stomach that is a tumor of cancer. He begins treatment tomorrow! Frank has had several bouts with cancer and other related illnesses. He retired from Polk Co. S.A.O. two years ago. Sam Diaz is in St Joe also. Originally, he was to have a Stint but after evaluation it became necessary for a heart bypass and will stay until the bypass is complete. Both are doing as well as expected under the circumstances.
