Hi Nannette,
Yes, the Thyroid Tonic is designed to address the various causes of hypothyroidism. If the hypothyroidism is from Hashimoto's thyroidosis though then I would recommend starting with the Adrenal Tonic first.
Recommended dose is 1/2 teaspoon three times daily at least 20 minutes before meals.
How long it takes is impossible to say since there are so many different causes of hypothyroidism and everyone has their own chemistry.
