The air is heavy as you make your way through unknown territory, as you pause to sniff the air a drop of rain falls onto your nose. It is soon followed by another and another and soon the rain is pelting down in sheets, soaking you to the bone. The clouds are an angry purple and the menacing drumming of thunder rolls over the sky. Squinting your eyes against the blinding water you find yourself at the edge of a large, dark pine forest. You are too desperate for shelter to notice the scents that mark the border and plunge in, and nearly into the chilly stream that runs through the territory. You veer away and as you are shaking the water out of your fur you notice a large pair of icy blue shards gazing at you. The storm has passed now and beams of sunlight filter through the thick canopy of pines, illuminating a massive male wolf not three feet away from where you stand.

His pelt looks like a bad patchwork job of black and white and beneath them you see large, hard bands of steely muscle and you know this is a warrior for his torso is marred with many battle scars. His banner curls over his back and his lips are drawn, exposing sharp ivory daggers. When he speaks his voice is deep and dominant, like the thunder you so recently heard.

"Wolf, you have found yourself in the terra of the Andere Seite Pack. I am Eclipse, king of this land."

It is only then that you notice another pair of lanterns gleaming in the penumbra and a dark-pelted fae slinks out into the clearing to stand next to the king, her own banner waves and her green and blue eyes bore into you. She is the same size as most males and a crisscrossing pattern of scars show that she too can take care of herself. Her voice is cold and has a snake-like sound to it yet you can see they are both fair rulers.

"And I am Nephthys, queen of Andere. We don’t care much for strangers so you must make your choice, Submit to us now or flee our lands and never return. If you fail to do either you will have little time left to regret it."

The formidable pair pierces you with their gaze and you feel as if all your secrets spill out before them. You are left with a decision now. Will you submit and take refuge in this dark forest or will you flee and never know what secrets these trees hide? Make haste, you can see that the pair grow tired of waiting.

//Kimani//Female//Adult//Alpha of Andere Seite//Mate to Plague//Pupless//
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Kimani had been relaxing in the most recent days. There had not been a newcomer in some time, although now was probably the most difficult time to gain acceptance, as the alpha was especially watching who she allowed in considering the fact that three litters of pups were due all around the same time. Not long before, she had heard her mate's howl, warning all would be intruders and prepping all pack members to be on the look out. The female was remaining more sane than usual in her final days of pregnancy … probably her mind's way of allowing her to always be in the right state of mind to protect what she carried with her. Already she felt such pride over the little lives. She wondered how Plague was feeling about the whole thing. She had once heard that females become mothers when they're pregnant, and males become fathers when they see their pups. So perhaps it hadn't set in for him yet?

After running her tongue across her chops, Kimani raised her skull up from the ground. Night was settling upon the land, and looking up, her mustard yellow eyes found the moon. It was something she had always admired. No particular reason … she did not know why, but she was simply drawn to it. Perhaps because it was the symbol of night – the time of day she felt most alive in. Perhaps because it was something so shrouded in darkness and mystery. Something no one understood, it was simply there. Using her strong limbs, she pushed herself up into a seated position. Her bully bulged, reminding her how soon it would be that what she housed would be out in the world. With a groan, she pushed herself up the rest of the way. Despite her being heavy with pups, her motions weren't as awkward as most other females … Kimani's broad build was nearly perfect for carrying puppies, as it turned out. Taking a whiff, it took her all of two seconds to position herself in the direction of her dark knight. She had also taken note of the fragrance of a wolf awaiting entry. Well they'd have to chill and be patient … besides, she figured Plague and herself would have to call a pack meeting soon anyways. They could call for newcomers as well, and if any seemed shady, make them turn back around and leave.

It didn't take too long for her yellow eyes to find her mate, laying down and enjoying the still night. A small, genuine smile found its way to her lips and she padded forward. She figured he could smell her arrival, and after a few steps towards him he would be able to hear her as well. She walked around him from the back, and then walked forward to be on his right side. Gently laying herself on the ground beside him, she pushed her muzzle forward and planted a kiss against his skull.

I've been missing you.

Ah Kimani, full of surprises. Always. Usually when she wanted time alone, she would seek it out. She typically didn't take kindly to most interrupting this solace … however there were a couple exceptions. Nephthys was one … her sister who she hadn't seen in far, far too long. Another was Plague. Kimani knew that he liked to give her space, and that was just one more thing she loved about him. The last time he had sought her out she had been on the brink of attacking him. Not out of hate … out of anger and, well, confusion. It had not been in her plan to get pregnant. But shit happens, right? Now her opinion was completely different of the situation. Anyways, he had caught her at a time that was probably the worst time he ever could have. And she knew that meant he probably wouldn't dare disturb her again … though she unless she specifically wanted no one around, she would never mind having him around. At the same time, she also didn't mind time alone … so either way, it seemed they were the perfect pair.
