The air is heavy as you make your way through unknown territory, as you pause to sniff the air a drop of rain falls onto your nose. It is soon followed by another and another and soon the rain is pelting down in sheets, soaking you to the bone. The clouds are an angry purple and the menacing drumming of thunder rolls over the sky. Squinting your eyes against the blinding water you find yourself at the edge of a large, dark pine forest. You are too desperate for shelter to notice the scents that mark the border and plunge in, and nearly into the chilly stream that runs through the territory. You veer away and as you are shaking the water out of your fur you notice a large pair of icy blue shards gazing at you. The storm has passed now and beams of sunlight filter through the thick canopy of pines, illuminating a massive male wolf not three feet away from where you stand.

His pelt looks like a bad patchwork job of black and white and beneath them you see large, hard bands of steely muscle and you know this is a warrior for his torso is marred with many battle scars. His banner curls over his back and his lips are drawn, exposing sharp ivory daggers. When he speaks his voice is deep and dominant, like the thunder you so recently heard.

"Wolf, you have found yourself in the terra of the Andere Seite Pack. I am Eclipse, king of this land."

It is only then that you notice another pair of lanterns gleaming in the penumbra and a dark-pelted fae slinks out into the clearing to stand next to the king, her own banner waves and her green and blue eyes bore into you. She is the same size as most males and a crisscrossing pattern of scars show that she too can take care of herself. Her voice is cold and has a snake-like sound to it yet you can see they are both fair rulers.

"And I am Nephthys, queen of Andere. We don’t care much for strangers so you must make your choice, Submit to us now or flee our lands and never return. If you fail to do either you will have little time left to regret it."

The formidable pair pierces you with their gaze and you feel as if all your secrets spill out before them. You are left with a decision now. Will you submit and take refuge in this dark forest or will you flee and never know what secrets these trees hide? Make haste, you can see that the pair grow tired of waiting.

alas, but patience is in fact a virtue

A smile touched the ivory vixen's labrums, how could it not after the matter of fact way Sadakah said her first words in return? It was heart warming to know that the fem could read her and see that she truly did need someone to lean on right now. Though, it probably wasn't that hard at all to read her right now. She was pretty broken visibly, after all. The next question the other czaress threw her way stunned Misty to the point that her golden orbs widened and she took a step back. Wh-why would you want to know anything about that? Love is cruel and heartless, its a joke set up by those who are lucky enough to find and hold onto it. It's nothing but a lifetime of heartbreak for the rest of us. Love is nothing like the stories. Its confusing and just downright not worth it. She found that as she'd been speaking, her voice had slowly been rising till it was almost unrecognizable in pitch. Oh dear, what had gotten into her? The ess looked away sheepishly, clamping her jaws shut before whispering. I'm sorry for yelling. It's just a touchy subject is all. Her dunkist gazers looked to the fae for forgivness, her plume giving a soft wag. She certainly didn't want to lose a friend so new, now, did she? Besides, Sadakah actually seemed pretty intelligent to her, more mature then most young adults would be. Or was she a teen? Misty narrowed her pools, but couldn't tell so she gave it up and gave an oblivious smile, instead. Giggling slightly, she shook her pate.

Father of my pups? Oh, goodness no, I haven't had any pups, at least not yet. I hope to some day, though.

Her pools sparkled with new found life at the thought. She nodded her cap and her auds folded back slightly in discomfort. Yes, there are some mean wolves that reside here, but don't fret. You are safe in the more friendly territories, like Andere. Just remember to stay cautious when you wander into the open lands. Not everyone is as nice as they seem. Unbidden, an image of His face swam before her twins and she had to close them momentarily to rid the picture from her thoughts. Seriously, she needed to find a hobby, and bad. Suddenly, an idea came to her. Grinning at the other huntress, she cocked her pate to the side innocently and pricked her radars as her banner wagged in semi excitement. Hey, want to go fishing later? I know of a good stream with plenty of fish that runs through the pack lands. That is, after you get accepted, which I have no doubt that you will. She gave a reassuring smile then with her pearlies showing and her gold painted lanterns glittered with faith that this would be so. It wouldn't do for the fae to go on thinking she wasn't worthy of this pack, after all. It was a pack for the hopeless, a pack for those lost or who thought they were lost to the world. Here, they were found. She had been found, despite the fact that she really didn't see or talk to many wolves here. So many times, Andere had been her safe place to come to heal. Even now, she was sure she would be feeling better in no time, as long as she was here.
