Desmond watched both creatures with mild interest behind golden orbs, just waiting to snap and attack them. When the wolf came forth and actually walked towards him Desmond shifted his weight a bit, eager for whatever would happen next. He’d just love to fight the wolf and lion, and he was thrilled at the thought of the wolf trying to take him on. Maybe he might’ve been wrong about this one before…

Desmond titled his head to the side, a hiss escaping his maw at the snarl. Was this guts or simply a death wish? Attitude in general wasn’t something wise to have unless you were someone quite powerful, or at least had the brains or silver- tongue to get away from any situation you caused yourself. “I don’t think you’d like what I want wolf, but I’d watch that tongue of yours before I snatch it right out of your muzzle.” He said with another hiss. He loved to provoke others into a fight; in fact it was something he usually did. See what made others tick and then use it to get what he wanted. At his complaining Desmond couldn’t help but laugh, the sound cold and harsh but genuine nonetheless.

“Lot to learn then wolf, mythicals play a big part on the Mountain, and especially as of late…” His lips curled up over needle-point teeth, curved and simply perfect for their job. “Like I said wolf, watch your tongue in the future.” Des was basically giving the wolf a free pass from his bored wrath. And only because he was in Fire and he still had what could be known as respect for the Beta. His gaze snapped over to the retreating lion and he growled.

“What’s the matter cat? Afraid of the big bad dragon?” He chuckled, taking a step in his direction, shaking his head and sending more water flying. “Say wolf, why not make sure this lion learns to fear the name of Fire? Put that aggravation to good use.” A slow, sadistic smile, more of a snarl either way, formed on his reptilian snout. He wouldn’t kill the lion, but he’d hurt him enough to make sure the name and beings of Fire would be imprinted in his mind.

In a way he had given the wolf an ultimatum. His health, or the lions. Zeox was already in the clear, but Nattaki was still a play thing to the large Aqua dragon. Maybe the wolf wasn’t confident enough in taking the lion on on his own, well now he had the opportunity to fight alongside and possibly befriend an fully grown pure Aqua dragon. He could always pass up the opportunity, but then what would he be risking?
