That is a fact. I give to my causes. As a country, we give 75% of the world's charity without government. Jesus also said, " Give to Caesar what is Caesar's, give to God what is God's." I certainly am in a better position to decide where I spend my money. And I would not suppose that Jesus was a liberal, he was God incarnate. And he placed on us individually not collectively how we should treat our neighbor. Government has no compassion nor real concern for the sick, the poor or the lame.
