A recent draft of Senate Bill 1245 was discovered when a staffer of John Boehner (Republican) of Ohio left a file containing the Bill on a D.C. Metro train. The documents were turned over to Fox News who reported on it this morning. The memo describes how the new bill will be the first piece of legislation introduced when the Republicans take over the House and Senate and John Boehner becomes the new House Speaker. According to the memo 98% of all crimes committed with firearms along with all firearms stolen or lost due to improperly securing them are committed by individuals with no college degree making less than 85k a year. Senate Bill 1245 will require everyone without a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution as determined by I.R.S guidelines making less than 85K a year per individual will be required to complete and submit I.R.S. form 9871 with their federal income tax return every year beginning in 2011. Senate Bill 1245 will require that you report all firearms in your possession along with model numbers and serial numbers on I.R.S. form 9871. The new law will impose a gun ownership tax of $50.00 per firearm. Individuals with a bachelor’s degree making more than 85k per year along with actively employed certified law enforcement personnel are exempt from the new law. Failure to comply with the new law is a felony with a fine of 10k per firearm. This is scary it appears the tea party is going after the middle class and exempting the wealthy.
