~~Love me for who I am~~


NicEssus had all but recently found solace in her ability to bend the light at her will, she was rarely seen but consistently heard with each stride bore more weight than the last each day. She still wasn't far along, but she truly felt wide as a pumpkin, swollen just a little with the small growing gift that one had felt well enough to bestow upon her. She thought of Donegal, they hadn't known each other well enough and long enough to really say they were more than just friends perhaps, but it was spring, the spring of her fourth year and she was feeling the fever so many had before her had. She wanted a baby, a foal to call her own, and he was happy to provide of course, and within her grew his child of which she could not be sure what it was yet. She didn't hold the same capabilities of Elyria, so it would just have to be a surprise for her. Not that she ever minded, the concept of a healthy foal was enough for her and the anticipation of being a mom was bearing on her each day all the more.

One thing she couldn't escape was the hormonal changes, and things did get on her nerves unlike before hence why she preferred to remain invisible most of the time. It was also why she was a little disgruntled when she heard another enter the jungle without warning, without much of a note to their foolish shrieking. She hadn't recognized it as Kitty's call, as when she had been brought to the Valkyrie kingdom Kitty had been dethroned by Viriarus, but as she neared she caught sight of the mare and immediately recalled her by her looks. Blending the light that she was growing more attuned to using she allowed herself to appear to Kitty, a smile placed upon her feature even though her achy figure didn't bolster such cheer. She nickered a welcome though remained with a sort of curiosity as to her appearance. She began to wonder if the mare was seeking her throne again, if she was here to break down the ranks and retrieve what had been so quickly stolen from her even before NicEssus had a chance to know what the queen was capable of. Protectively she remained a little farther away from the other than usual, keeping her swelling form and growing life safe from any possible harm as she began to speak.

Why, hello Kitty, welcome back to the jungle.

She smiled, once a Valkyrie always a Valkyrie was something true and fast to NicEssus' mind and Kitty was no exception. Tipping to one of her left irons she shifted her weight to her right side as she waited for others to arrive and for Kitty to respond.
