This is where adults can come to seek the Oracle's counsel or to seek their destinies. Be wary, the Oracle is very, very blunt and truthful. Additionally, be careful what you ask for, being human and a slave to moods and emotions, she may not always give you what you want.

Some could call her crazy, delusional, and wholly lost; they would be right for very obvious reasons. Before the time change, she could have remembered Dierdre as her own daughter, not by blood but simply because Solaris loved the girl. Taj had loved her too; they had called themselves her parents, when it seemed like Mocking Call and Visions of Madness grew tired of the silver eyed child. Dierdre was who had brought Solaris and Taj together, and they had learned to take care of other instead of themselves and their kingdom. It is also true that Dierdre, making conclusions from past events, shaped who Solaris was before and who she became after.

It is not right of her to forget the daughter who is more like her in every way than Nocturne could have been; for taking someone else's child and making them as your own takes care of different love than having your own child does. Nocturne had no choice but to love her mother; it was simply because they were family and always would be. But Dierdre had chosen to be different than who her parents were and who her sister, Viriarus, became. Perhaps it made all the difference in the end, whether they all realized it at the time or not. A mother should not forget her daughter, ever. Unfortunately, Solaris cannot help it; if only she could!

She freezes in mid stride, hearing nothing but her name; it is strange, how her name sounds younger, as if it is not her own at all, when coming from someone else's lips. Slowly, with suspicion upon her old and weary mind, she turns to face the physical form with the voice; the voice that seems oddly familiar, like an angel of her dreams. But how can that be, when dreams are meant for sleeping and reality is for those awake and in full awareness of themselves? Does that make Solaris - the Queen of the Silver Lakes who was kind, loyal, and patient above all else - a monster for not being either of the two? We cannot be sure, and neither is she.

She gazes upon her once-adopted daughter with a somewhat curious gaze, wondering perhaps why she seems so frightened and scared. She does not know this girl, but she supposes that she might have met her back somewhere in the time change - a younger version of herself, possibly. With all the weird on goings of the post-return, one can never be to sure what is going on. She is a bit confused as to why she is getting yelled at, but again, one could never be sure in times like this. Perhaps it had just been her imagination, the screaming.

It is almost as if she is waiting for the girl to say more; her head tilts to the side quizzically, an expression of curiosity ever present on her face. She waits another moment, a fat raindrop falling on her head... And that is when she notices the eyes of the girl. The memories come flooding back like a dam breaking with so much water pressure behind it. Her mind reeling, she is almost to shocked to say anything, nor can she move from her spot, rooted to the ground.

Dierdre?
