Ice Mountain

The Ice Mountain is much smaller than Wolf Mountain, yet climbing up it is far more difficult and shouldn't be attempted in winter. Some creatures collect the shiny stones at the peak of this mountain for necklaces.

Dracana could easily 'get lost in thought' as some might put it. She would plot and ponder her next move, seemingly oblivious to the world around her. Never. The grey wolfess was never unaware. She heard every sound, from the chirping of a bird, the roar of a dragon, or the rustle of the grass by the whisper of a wind. Even now as winter drew nearer and snow covered her mountain, the soft movement of fresh power by wind or paws did not go unnoticed. Her green eyes lacked a certain focus. Dracana always looked like she was looking for or at something, even when she wasn't. Because of that, very little escaped her sharp gaze.

Then she heard it. Her ears twitched slightly. At first, it could have easily been mistaken for a soft breeze. For a brief second, Dracana held her breath. Maybe it was her age getting to her, but in the silence when she couldn't hear herself breathing, it was there. Pawsteps. Well-trained pawsteps, she decided. However, they were far to small to be a grown anything. Her gaze drifted towards the source below her. She saw Ezio moving first, and then slowing as he was moving up the mountain. Dracana's eyes did not lock on him though. Instead, her attention drifted away to where the other set of paws stopped.

It was in that flicker of an instant she saw it. Teleporting was one of her stronger blessing abilities, especially when in places it was far more conducive, like the trees when the wind was blowing. Her green eyes darted to the general area of the ledge Altair was crouched. Ah, the youngster was white. That made him far more difficult to spot, but from above, it wasn't impossible.

It took her a moment, but Dracana found him. Still as could be. Had she not been where she was, the older fem might not have spotted him. A smile creased her muzzle. It was good to see another generation with skills. Dracana sat up, her gaze drifting from where Altair hid to the slow crawl of Ezio up the mountainside. Her ears flicked slightly as she spoke, easily loud enough for both to hear. Yet it wasn't exactly directed at either of them. "I know you're there," she said, a smile still lingering on her face, "You can't hide so easily from me."
