The air is heavy as you make your way through unknown territory, as you pause to sniff the air a drop of rain falls onto your nose. It is soon followed by another and another and soon the rain is pelting down in sheets, soaking you to the bone. The clouds are an angry purple and the menacing drumming of thunder rolls over the sky. Squinting your eyes against the blinding water you find yourself at the edge of a large, dark pine forest. You are too desperate for shelter to notice the scents that mark the border and plunge in, and nearly into the chilly stream that runs through the territory. You veer away and as you are shaking the water out of your fur you notice a large pair of icy blue shards gazing at you. The storm has passed now and beams of sunlight filter through the thick canopy of pines, illuminating a massive male wolf not three feet away from where you stand.

His pelt looks like a bad patchwork job of black and white and beneath them you see large, hard bands of steely muscle and you know this is a warrior for his torso is marred with many battle scars. His banner curls over his back and his lips are drawn, exposing sharp ivory daggers. When he speaks his voice is deep and dominant, like the thunder you so recently heard.

"Wolf, you have found yourself in the terra of the Andere Seite Pack. I am Eclipse, king of this land."

It is only then that you notice another pair of lanterns gleaming in the penumbra and a dark-pelted fae slinks out into the clearing to stand next to the king, her own banner waves and her green and blue eyes bore into you. She is the same size as most males and a crisscrossing pattern of scars show that she too can take care of herself. Her voice is cold and has a snake-like sound to it yet you can see they are both fair rulers.

"And I am Nephthys, queen of Andere. We don’t care much for strangers so you must make your choice, Submit to us now or flee our lands and never return. If you fail to do either you will have little time left to regret it."

The formidable pair pierces you with their gaze and you feel as if all your secrets spill out before them. You are left with a decision now. Will you submit and take refuge in this dark forest or will you flee and never know what secrets these trees hide? Make haste, you can see that the pair grow tired of waiting.

She continued to see the snarling lips and hear those hideous growls that haunted her every sleeping moment, and now her every waking. She understood Plague's reaction to Sadakah, really she did. The girl disrespected him with her bristling fur and then with her forward words. It was ignorance and very few alphas would tolerate it. Plague was obviously one that would not, not in his pack, anyway. Misty didn't blame him, but she was scared. She was scared of the faces she saw in her dreams, of foamy lips and hate filled optics. Plague did not have hate in his voids, voids that were usually so warm and welcoming. No, he was just strict and knew she needed to be taught. Of course it made her sad that one of her only friends had been driven from the pack, but that didn't mean she would have to be alone. She just couldn't stop running.

Her strong limbs carried her far and she was headed lord knows where when she stopped and skidded to a halt. What was she running from? Fear. It would follow her, none the less. A whimper escaped her maw and she collapsed to the ground, almost groveling as she tucked her plume and flattened her lobes against her skull in discomfort. Closing her gold painted windows, she saw again the faces and whined in panic. Then she growled, a hideous sound. She felt so weak! How could one guy do all this to her? How could she let it? She had a plan, it was a marvelous plan. She would find a male that so resembles him that it would almost be like love again and then they would mate and she would raise the pups like they were his. Of course the real biological father would have nothing to do with the pups once they were born, she would make sure of that. Her plan had fallen to ashes when she met Sadakah and felt like she was saved from the torment of being alone. Her hopes had lifted as had her spirit, all to be crushed in the sand when Sadakah showed her youth and made Plague chase her from Andere. Now where would she find mercy?

Deciding she didn't want to be out here alone anymore, the ghostly velca picked herself up off the ground, shook out her canvas and started back toward the pack lands at a trot. That was when a strange new scent hit her and she paused, unsure. Flattening her radars once more, she slowed to a walk, thinking. Should she approach? She could always make a wide circle around that part of the border, let Plague or Kimani reach the ess first, but would that be better for her? No, she knew it wouldn't be. She needed to socialize, to get out more. Maybe meeting new wolves would do the trick, and maybe she would warn this fem better about being respectful to the alpha. Finally, she made out a hunkered mass on the ground, shivering as she exposed her jugular to anyone who approached. You had those who wouldn't submit for the life of them and then you had the ones would submit to a tree. Anything that worked. That would certainly work better than the bristling fur trick. Coming up toward the jezebel, she cleared her throat to let the girl know she was there and came up to stand on the other side of the border. Giving the huntress space, she gave a small shy smile and dipped her crown in greeting. Hello there. I am Misty. Welcome to Andere Siete. Plague or Kimani should be along shortly.
