This is where adults can come to seek the Oracle's counsel or to seek their destinies. Be wary, the Oracle is very, very blunt and truthful. Additionally, be careful what you ask for, being human and a slave to moods and emotions, she may not always give you what you want.
Be careful what you wish for...

The oracle merely shook her head at the uncertainty of the mare's hooves beneath her and the rushed words that fell from her lips. Ignoring the hurried speech, she moved forward, cloak sweeping around her frame. Bending before the mare, violet eyes trailed over the injured limb, fingertips quickly following the lavender gaze. The gem at her throat glimmered a pale blue, tinting the skin around it. Galadriel's gifts were focused onto healing, both of body and mind, and it was this energy she channeled, attempting to mend the spotted mare's knee before speaking. Content that it had done it's work, the light faded from the pendant, returning to it's clear crystalline self. Straightening to a standing position once more, she offered Anaxandra a small smile, earth smudged hand reaching out to brush against her neck in a friendly sort of action. Her voice was soft as she finally spoke, doing her best to explain the strange dreams she had been having and wha they could possibly mean.

Anaxandra, I believe these dreams are caused by exactly what conclusion you yourself have come to. Your heart wishes to possess the abilities of Altus and that is most likely what causes these nightly flights of fancy. However, you misunderstand the gift you have been given. Fire is not merely destructive and wild, set to burn whatever it comes into contact with. Just as with every element, it bears a nuturing side. It's the warmth of blood in one's veins, the love between a mother and child, and the spark that keeps us all going once others would think we should stop. Do you doubt the fittingness of your gift still? Is it really so strange that a gentle, peaceful mare from the arctic would become a follower of Paduan, not because of her need to destroy, but because of her warmth inside? There are reasons for all that we do Anaxandra, reasons for everything life hands to us. Even if they aren't always revealed to us.

A small pause hung between the pair, the violet eyed lady letting her words sink in before continuing her speech. A small smile grew into a knowing half smirk as the consenants and vowels stung together into sentences.

You say you have gotten into a fight you cannot win? Are you really so sure? Why do you doubt yourself before you try? One never knows what they can accomplish if they give up before they even start. Is that really how you want to go through life?

With a soft sigh and another shake of the head she paused again, amazed and almost amused by the uncertainty that rolled off this arctic mare in waves. Most that came to her were stubborn, arrogant, and only seeking her out for the power she could bestow. Not this one. Anaxandra came to her with questions, not demands. It was refreshing to say the least.

Indeed you can possess more than one element, many others that walk these lands have several, but you have to work at becoming practiced in your gifts before another god will choose you as their own. However, as the case may be, it seems you yourself have doe just that and Galadriel seeks to call you one of her followers.

The gem at her throat was glowing that pale blue once more and as the calloused hand swept over the light pelt once more, a gem appeared upon it, glimmering that same pale aquamarine.

Altus has not chosen you this time, but do not despair Anaxandra. Everything comes in time...
