Dionysus walked along the river, his new companion waddling beside him. His paws thudded softly with each step he took. He never thought he would ever have a reason to be here but here he was and here he would be for a while. His children were off doing his own things, Zoilo and Bacchus also doing whatever they do while they're away from Dionysus, which was getting to be more and more often. He felt oddly lonely now a days. Luckily he had found a dragon egg and it had hatched to be a small male dragon. Feisty little thing, no matter what his size, he acted as if he were seven feet tall. He was oddly attached to the little dragon kit and the kit was oddly attached to Dionysus. He had named him Slith. He was no good in a fight but made for good company. Dionysus leaned his head down and nuzzled the kit. In reply, Slith cooed happily and romped around, happy his 'dad' gave him some affection.

Slith was odd for his species. He had serious mood swings from time to time. He was a bright orange with black tattered wings and his eyes were always glowing. He was the first to see the wolfess by the water, Dionysus noticing her shortly after Slith squeaked and started walking faster. He ran around in circles as Dionysus slowly made his way to the fey. He was naturally charming but somehow he knew his charm was useless with this one. Slith giggled and jumped onto Dionysus' back, watching Storm with full interest.

"Hello," Dionysus greeted her with a crooked smile. "I'm Dionysus." Slith tugged his ear and whined, disappointed he wasn't introduced to the fey as well. "Oh, and this is Slith." He said, looking up at slith who was now resting his head on the top of Dionysus' head. He looked at the violet flower in front of him and tilted his head, nearly knocking Slith off. Around this time of year he would have thought all flowers would be wilting in the cold. "And you Are?" He looked at her with his wine red eyes that everyone hated so much. It was just the eye color and what it symbolized. He sighed softly but smiled at the wolfess. Maybe some more company would be good for me, he thought. It's not like I'll ever see her again... I think... He wondered if they would ever happen to cross paths again. Maybe if all goes well, if she doesn't end up hating him, they would become friends. Possibly. anything was possible.
