The grey, mostly wolf fae continued along, trying to find a good scent source for finding her mother. Demi finally let out an exhasparated sigh and hung her head. Surely her own mother wouldn't be this hard to find. That was when she heard a voice. Demi's ears perked up slightly, turning her head to see the source of the voice. She tilted her head slightly as her red eyes looked at the stranger and she noted his scent.

It was faint, but he smelled vageuly like a wolf she'd met once. Kashann, the alpha of Water. This male must've been from the place, Demi decided. True, she had agreed to be mate to a wolf from Water, but she was proud and glad to do so for her mother who took in Demi and her brother when they certainly would have been lost to winter's chill. Her tail waved slightly as she offered a smile.

"Perhaps so. My mother's been missing for more than a month now, and I'm worried. It's so unlike her," Demi explained, wondering what help he might be able to offer. Surely he might be surprised when she told him that her mother was the Earth alphess Bandido.
