Ice Mountain

The Ice Mountain is much smaller than Wolf Mountain, yet climbing up it is far more difficult and shouldn't be attempted in winter. Some creatures collect the shiny stones at the peak of this mountain for necklaces.

"Well then," Squall said, a brow raising as he watched the owl disappear over the edge of the cliff. It was certainly a rude gesture and uncalled for, as Squall hadn't said or done anything to cause that reaction. Well, all he'd gathered from their interaction was the fact that the owl was a rude, noisy, ignorant bird. He wondered, vaguely, if all owls were like her, or if perhaps she was an outcast of her own kind. He was leaning toward the outcast theory, considering the fact that he didn't know any species that, in general, would want to be considered in that way.

In any sense, the owl's sudden departure didn't phase the young liger in the least. Pale blue eyes narrowed out at the sun as it began to descent toward the far horizon. Zephyr would be home soon, and it was best he be there before his brother's arrival. Squall stood and gave a stretch before shaking the snow from his rather thick fur. Well, good riddance to that bird. It was time to go home.
