The wolf turned his head, only slightly, these animals were stupid, he couldn’t figure out any other way to say it. Did they think that for some reason that he couldn’t smell, hear, or see another wolf? Or did she think that her crashing through the forest like a loud elephant would go unnoticed by a wolf such as himself? Dense wolves with dense minds, or they were all the same, if he met one more “oh my gosh I’m sooo bad ass.” Wolf one more time he would have to find some way to tear its throat out before it even got a word of profanity right out of its stupid little mouth.
That was besides the point, pointing out how stupid most of them where, but then again the females weren’t any better the “oh my gosh I’m gods gift to man and I’m such a whore” didn’t run well with the silver male either. Not to mention the little fact that when these wolves started to speak they usually didn’t know what the words that ran out their mouths meant, a tiny detail, but one that a clever wolf such as himself didn’t miss, or well, any wolf that wasn’t a sheltered idiot that lived in a cave for most of its life.
The wise, the smart, the intelligent didn’t allow these mistakes to actually happen, and really if the female tried anything, she would run a greater risk of getting killed in a battle than what Sutekh would. Males were bigger, stronger, and faster usually than their female counterparts. Another little detail, but once again, something clever wolves didn’t overlook before starting a fight, and the dense little female that was standing behind didn’t seem to know this, and if a fight broke out, of course he would use his superior experience and mass to win the fight. He was almost positive that this female hasn’t seen a day of battle, cause if she did, she would know that behind was not the way to approach.
True wolves did not wait at borders that haven’t been marked in months. True wolves did not idly swear and act crazy, so Sutekh yawned. Bored and annoyed with more stupidity and ignorance that he was receiving from this wolf, sadly where Sutekh came from, they had a basic I.Q. level, and it was always thought that they would always act smartly, or would at least pretend to act smartly. Nope. Not here.
And because of his ears, that he could hear out of by the way, he heard her clumsy crashing through the forest before she actually drew near. Wolves could hear at impressive distances away, her “stealth” was a failed attempt. Good try kid; you just still a useless pup when it came down to it. And since there wasn’t an alpha that was here to confirm her would be attempt to kill she wouldn’t be able to. Unless of course, like a little idiot she could read the minds of wolves that weren’t even here, and haven’t been here for the longest while. Interesting, telepathic wolves.
Did she expect him to roll over and submit? Did she expect him to be afraid of a wolf that was lesser than he? No, sorry child, run back to your den. Sutekh lifted his tail, and allowed it to curl high above his haunches, head lifted in authority as he gazed toward her, his eyes locked against her in a stare, a direct challenge right back to her, of course if she knew that she actually didn’t logically stand a chance in a fight against Sutekh she would surely back down. But the smart were usually at the top of the throne barking the orders, and the dumb…at the bottom. And if Sutekh won this challenge the female in front of him would be either dead or a pathetic omega for everyone to laugh at.
He would refrain from verbally pointing out how stupid she was, but then again, he wouldn’t hold back in his mind from assessing the situation and taking his genetic advantage and his mental advantage into account when it came down to facing other wolves. Of course now that he was fully facing the female he pulled his lips upward into a snarl as well. Hackles rising along his back and tracing against his spine as he looked toward the female, tail continued to peak until at full height, teeth snapped together rapidly in a threat as he looked toward her. Tongue flashed out to run over teeth, this female wasn’t the alpha, he could tell, she wasn’t smart enough, strong enough, to lead a pack. Just another bruiser that would have to be bruised in order to learn the proper lesson, another idiot that would be lead like a sheep to the slaughter.
Sutekh…evil, no, calculated yes, true to his own nature, yes, not psychotic, yes, knowing his right from his left side, his rump from his head, yes. Intelligences got you far. “Submit wolf, you do not compare to me at all. Look at you, acting as if you know what you talk about, just another face in the crowd until you stand out.” The male continued to allow the fur along his shoulders to rise and expanded his already large body mass. Oh how bad ass she really was, wow, he was just amazed… Not. If he moved toward her…he would have momentum on his side. Know what that means? Can you finish the sentence?
